I was just re reading Transfusions and I noticed there's a few unfinished pages in book 2 chap 8... Would you ever post the finished pages? Not complaining at all just curious. It's a very fun and sexy chapter and one of my faves so 🤭
Also I don't know if you ever said anything about this but are you going to ever print or make a PDF version of the comic? I'd loooove to buy a digital copy

There are a lot of unfinished pages here and there, that I do want to actually finish some day, but I've just been kinda swamped with other things and a little bit burnt out too to actually tackle that project.
And I too inted to edit and make PDF version of Transfusions, but it is too long of a comic for me to print.

purely out of curiosity: why usually two Transfusions pages and one Witch Door page? is it because of the colours? i love both comics dearly ♡
I've been updating Transfusions 2 pages/update almost since the start. The pages were small and pretty simple so I felt like 2 pages was more rewarding after waiting a whole week.
For TWD I probably thought, because it's a fresh new comic, updating it multiple times a week gives it more visibility, since I'm posting about it more. And also I get part of the ad revenue of the ads on TWD so having people come to the site more often helps me too. :) (Disabling ad blockers on thewitchdoor.com is an easy way to support me and the comic, btw!) The Witch Door pages are a lot more work though, too!

Hmmm, Ulriikka is definitely mischievous and I love her! But she's not evil.
If we go to more evil end then perhaps Dietrich. I like his design and he's such a selfish "better than you" asshole who had very mixed feelings about Joa. Such a twat.

Nah I haven't really thought of any of the backstories of Joa's vamp fam. I'll leave it to the readers to have their own headcanons, or if they wanna write fanfics.
Honestly I just drew the scar on Dietrich and thought it looked cool, but idk where or why he got it, lol. If that was why he became a vampire, the scar wouldn't be there because it would've healed. But he probably would be dead from it otherwise.... Who knows, lol!

Going and rereading Transfusions always gives me a giggle cuz of how often the tag on the back of Joa's shirts is sticking out the top of his collar. It's such a little detail given so much care, I love it

I appreciate your enthusiasm to translate Transfusions. However...
There have been many attempts to do fan translations of Transfusions to serveral languages, and sooner or later they have all ghosted. And then I get people asking me where the translation is and is it gonna continue, and I don't know! And then I get people asking if they could continue/redo the translations. And honestly I don't have the time nor the energy to handle that and then possibly have them quit and ghost and then another one ask to translate and then quit and then another–
Transfusions has almost 1100 pages (~26 chapters) at the moment, and It's still gonna have a few more chapters. It's a long project, and I get that people's lives change and they can't continue the translation, something they do for free. I'd just wish they'd let me (and the readers) know instead of vanishing. I'm not saying you would do that, but it has happened on each TF fan translation so far, and I'm just done with them at this point, unfortunately. So I won't be giving permissions for fan translations now.
Maybe after I've finished Transfusions I'll consider them again.
