Gears' little tokens of affection are some of the sweetest in the world, just small things like fixing your clothes before you leave to go do something, adding extra clothes or making you remove some based on the temperature outside, cooking you a meal at least once a week, just to show he cares... and no matter how small of a meal it is, it never fails to make you smile. He always makes sure to share his cooking adventures and what obstacles he overcame with you as you eat.. such a cutie. He's also known for picking you up and carrying you about a whole lot, he feels you work yourself too hard (even if you don't do anything in particular that's considered 'strenuous'), so up with him you go!

When you two do have a rare disagreement, he doesn't stay mad at you for long, even if you're in the wrong, within an hour or rarely two, he'll wander over to you and lay his helm in your lap, and within an instant, all of those uneasy feelings are gone.. He'll forgive you for anything and he prays to Primus above that you'd do the same for him as well... Even though any mistakes he makes are quite benigne, like forgetting to do something or forgetting something in an order of food he fetches for you... small stuff. He punishes himself more than you do him for such things, so make sure to love on him and he'll simmer down soon enough.

He's by far one of the most jealous bots aboard, legitimately, one of the worst for it. He doesn't even like it when other bots look at you, even if it's for just a moment. Now, he usually doesn't do anything about such pestering irritants, but occasionally he may very well hide you with his hands and disguise it as a hug because he's finally gotten fed up, he just doesn't like his love being gawked at by a bunch of idiots.. Can you blame him? You'd probably do the same thing if you were in his boots. Otherwise, he's pretty tame despite what he wants to do (keep you all to himself). Despite this, he will pout at you if you're with another bot for too long, maybe even get a bit pissy later on... You'll just have to ease his stresses a bit and tell him he's the only bot for you, that always helps with his mood, even if his soured mood has nothing to do with jealousy, it helps.. He just loves you, truly.

Gears is more protective than possessive, don't get me wrong, he has had his fair share of possessive streaks, he's just known to be more of a worrywart than stingy with you. But sometimes he's just anxious and wants you to himself for a while, no big deal.

"Sweetspark, will you please stay a little longer? I'm beggin' you here.. Just a little longer, 'kay? Thanks, honey... I'll be sure to make a nice dinner later in return.... I know I don't have to, you deserve it, sweetspark."

Oh Primus, why are you sad? Did someone say somethin' to you? He'll kick their ass! No..? Did somethin' not go your way? He'll fix it! Not that either, huh? That time of the month? No? Just feelin' sad, huh? Well, that's quite alright, he'll stay with you until you feel better. He'll rub soft circles onto your back, give you a little massage, then take you on a little walk outside to brighten your spirits. He does the same routine every time your sad, it's like cloakwork at this point.. but it never fails to cheer you up. Like he always says, 'don't fix something that's not broken'.

OH PRIMUS, YOU'RE SICK!? How did this happen!? Not to worry, you'll be rushed to Ratchet so fast people'll think you're dying, you'll draw quite the concerned crowd for a while, then once Ratchet slowly and very patiently explains what's wrong with you to a bunch of blabbering, nervous nellies, they'll reluctantly leave one by one (mostly because Ratchet ushers them out). Both Ratchet and Gears will work as a tag team, if one's busy, the other picks up the pace, bringing you fresh healthy foods and plenty of fluids.. So much so that you're pretty certain you could built your own damn fountain at this point. Not to worry, though, you'll be better in no time with those two on your side!
