Note: Some of this is probably written like a joke, but that’s just because I’m tired. I’m actually completely serious in what I say. I’ve done a lot of research for feminine/masculine/neither scents. Of course, I haven’t done ALL the research in the world, and I’m talking mainly about America here, because I don’t know if it’s different outside of America, but still.

Okay so

SCENTS

For some reason, they’re gendered????? Don’t ask me why, but lemme tell YOU how you can use this weird-ass gendering of inanimate objects To! Your! Advantage!

MASULINE SCENTS:

Herbs (basil, rosemary,) mints (spearemint, peppermint), wood (sandalwood,) pine, cooking spices (cumin, pepper, garlic,)

FEMININE SCENTS:

Flowers (lavender, rose,) fruits (orange, apple,) baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg,) star anise,

Note: Honey is often used with feminine scents, but isn’t much of a feminine scent on its own

Additionally, cinnamon is most often used for feminine scents, but can go either way

NONBINARY SCENTS:

Mix the two. Smell like basil and lavender. Smell like sandalwood and lemons.

* I wouldn’t recommend mixing flowers/fruits and mint, that can result in a very feminine smell.

But honey? Mollases?

SMELL LIKE IT

That’s right.

Cinnamon, honey, mollases, and basically everything is an enby scent

Trans*girls, walk on the tightrope

You don’t have to be exactly on it, exactly foot in front of foot, but close to it.

Trans*boys, walk on the sides of the tightrope.

Even if you can’t grow it long or get it cut short, let me recommend something!

Masculine haircuts- Ask for “squared ends/a squared cut.”

Okay so there are these things, “Boho Bandeaus”

They are thirteen dollars. 

The packaging says they can be anything- a bandanna, a wristband, a hat, a scarf,... a tube top. 

These things are safe to put on your body. They are marketed towards girls, so it’s safe to put over your chest. I’ve used them like a binder, and they actually made my chest flat.  Now, note: I am small chested and skinny. I honestly have no clue how this would work for other people- maybe it won’t, maybe you’ll need another, I don’t know. 

They don’t come in skin tones, but there is two greys (one with lace on the ends) and a black. Otherwise, they’re printed. 

With the trend of being a TERF on the rise, I gotta say something.

Trans*girls are the ones mainly being attacked. If you ever see us trans*boys talked over by TERFs, it’s mainly bs like how we’ve “been so strongly influenced by the patriarchy” that we don’t wanna be women anymore.

It’s undeniable that trans*girls are the ones in our community that are largely being attacked by TERFs.
