hi i know maybe youve gotten this already a million times before but i just want to thank you for your advocacy for all of our community as trans people. thank you for remembering those we've lost, thank you for making others remember them too, even when they try so hard to forget. thank you for helping me remember that i love my community on purpose, that it's a choice and an action i have to make every day.
omg tysm i try my best to help guide people through rhetorical land mines im a very hyperverbal person who spends a lot of time in my own mind if i cant use that and my selective skills of obsession and hyperfocus granted by my audhd ocd combo what little else can i make of it all (/llighthearted) and i get a lot of joy out of explaining feminist theory (to the best of my ability as well as i understand it) and in researching queer history only to find that one niche article from eons ago to add to my own personal understanding and to show to others the past in a very literal sense has passed but in terms of evidence of its existence in large part the past is NOT behind us it is beside us and we can still learn from it now for how long who knows and we need not forget it
and i love that description as well of loving the queer community as hard as it can be at times as many people seek to disillusion others from community it absolutely is a choice one makes on purpose and keeps making and its a completely worthwhile choice to make to boot!!!

Cis women romanticise their teen girlhood all the time, but when a trans woman does it suddenly 500 bitter radfems crawl out of the earth to call teen girlhood the shittiest thing ever and accuse them of not understanding womanhood at all
And I dunno, as someone who had a teen girlhood which was shit for many reasons, I think that so long as she's not causing herself undue grief or calling me a gender traitor who didn't appreciate something that's inherently great, a trans woman should be able to romanticise all the shoulda coulda woulda beens of any age of girlhood
