As the seasons changed Will eventually came to accept that his feelings aren't going away.

Will felt two strong hands wrap around him as he was slung over your shoulder.

Your right hand held onto the bat as you ran to get him to safety. The truck near the gate might be a good place for Will to hide until the monsters were dead.

After all he wasn't bleeding from what you saw so hopefully the Demogorgons wouldn't be able to find him easily there.

Unfortunately there was one problem. One of the monsters strayed from the main area and emerged from the spot you were heading to.

It screeched and ran right towards you two. "Shit"

You had to drop Will and use your bat to keep the creature away from your friend.

It didn't do much damage unfortunately but you managed. A second creature emerged from behind you. It's long claws sliced at your back and made you cry out in pain.

You stumbled. That small mistake would've cost you your life. The creature lunged again,it's claws about a hair from your face.

You closed your eyes and braces for impact but for some reason it never hit you. When you looked again the creature was still in the same position with the monster floating in the air. It's bones snapped and it dropped dead.

You saw Will standing with white eyes and a bleeding nose and finally you understood that he was the one who saved your life.

As the pain got worse Will felt like this was the end of his life. He saw snippets of his life. His mother,brother,friends and most importantly you.

In the distance your groans of pain made him snap out of his dazed trip down memory lane. His vision was blurry but he could see that you were in danger and suddenly he felt this new motivation to try to get up.

He was used to being called a coward. He remembers those times he failed to protect you against not only Vecna but against the bullies at your school. Afraid to intervene for he knew that meant you'd both end up with targets on your backs.

He saw the creature reach out to maul you. "No!" reached out with a strong sense of desperation brewing inside him. He can't lose you. He just can't.

He didn't fully register what was happening. His vision went white and there was a loud crack as the Demogorgons fell to the ground like they were nothing.

He was levitating in the air. He wiped at the warm liquid that he felt dripping from his nose,unable to even register that it was his own blood.

Only seconds after he fell to the floor and passed out.
