Sebas? He’s just now realizing he’s not as straight as he thought, and he’s terrified—of himself, of Roque, of what everyone else will think.

They want each other, but they’re both scared. Roque’s scared of being lied to again. Sebas is scared of wanting what he wants.

But they’re trying. They’re figuring out how to talk about it, how to let themselves have something good even when it’s hard. They’re kissing, holding each other when the fear gets too loud, and finally letting themselves be seen.

Many of my friends are straight cis women who enjoy MLM fic (and I used to think I was one too) so we've had a lot of discussions about what attracts us to it. My apologies in advance for the binary language that is hard to avoid here!

In my experience, there are surprisingly many women who enjoy romance and/or smut but feel a bit uncomfortable with how women are often portrayed in straight pairings. For example, traditional gender roles may feel heightened during sex scenes (dominant man, submissive woman), and that may disturb us. The female character may also make us self-conscious if we start comparing ourselves to her, or even more often, we may find her annoying or lacking in some way. Possibly because we hold female characters to a higher standard than we do male characters, which is a whole other discussion.

And if these kinds of factors affect your enjoyment of straight stuff, it may be more enjoyable turn to MLM stuff. Not just in fanfic, but in general. It can feel liberating and even sort of empowering to read and watch stories where the partners aren't locked in the same framework of gendered roles, expectations and standards as you are.

So is that wrong or problematic? Well, I think we need to be aware that it can become problematic if we start to fetishize and tokenize real gay men, for example, and it's always good to reflect on your own unconscious biases and such. But like the other anon said, no one of any orientation is "wrong" for reading anything. You can't choose what you enjoy, and believe me, you are not the only one.
