CARGO WORKWEAR Back in October @cargo_workwear sent me a pair of their Aviator work trousers to try. Cargo Workwear, a new name (well new to me)! In trade workwear offer everything from boots & safety trainers, general work wear, trade specific work wear and PPE. The Aviator trousers are part of their premium trouser range, and are made from a 210GSM Ripstop polycotton for durability, with 4 way stretch Cordura for flexibility. They feature all your usual pockets, nail/tool pockets, knee pad pockets, multipurpose leg pockets and have reinforced belt loops and a waist band gripper. All seams are reinforced and the knee pad pockets are made with Cordura and are easy to use. I have worn these for the past few weeks and have found them to be comfortable and lightweight for work trousers, but still retaining durability, they are showing no signs of wear yet. Pockets in all the right places, hi-viz bands on the legs, they have a relaxed fit, not tight. I have worn them with @redbacks_cushioning kneepads, and the position when kneeling was good. I find they are a bit too thin for the colder months, but will be great when its warmer, although no vents, so may get a bit warm during hotter days. I will be long term testing these and will review after a lot more use! Axinite I have been wearing the @axiniteuk workwear Graphite body warmer & hooded fleece jacket for a few weeks now. The body warmer is light and comfortable to wear, isn’t too thick or ‘puffy’ to be annoying and keeps the heat in your core area whilst still having your arms free. The graphite hooded fleece jacket is a very, very warm jacket, did i say it was warm?! Infact, i find it too warm to wear unless it is really cold! The jacket has a faux fur lining and a hood, which I personally think should be a bit larger. This is quite a heavy jacket, but feels amazingly comfortable to wear! I shall be wearing these through winter and see how i get on with them long term.
