Notes for Red and Nigel lol
Red is chronically sleep deprived and he often skips meals so he's literally swimming in his suit that is often three sizes to big for him. He's given up on tailoring it to fit him.
Nigel is always dressed to the nines. He WILL grocery shop in nothing less than a two piece suit, I don't even think he owns a pair of sweatpants.

Okay, here we have the conflicted duo with the captured, dying red squirrel.
It's extremely strange to me, and I mean it completely, when I say that I'm surprised that we never, ever see these two join forces to find the "red squirrel." I feel like there was an opportunity the series missed, and it disappoints me a little because I feel like it could have been better if the producers had gone for a full-length arc where we saw more of these two penguins.

WIP #4
Tensions are almost at their peak 🐧
This was a concept I've had in my head for a while regarding this duo (and I feel like I borrowed part of the idea from a fanfic somewhere… I guess).
I always imagined a scene where Nigel's and Buck's ways of working would clash drastically as they tried to bring the red squirrel to justice. At the same time, the squirrel would manage to turn the two spies against each other because of the suggestion it instilled in Buck about the crimes he could commit.
I don't know if Nigel would be that noble, but given his social class and ignoring Buck's temperament, I find it very plausible.
