hi!! I was wondering if you could help me identify a toy?? It was a small purse like toy and the bottom was plastic and it was kinda like a cloud. You could pull the purse part down and it was like a little table and a fountain and a chair. I THINK it came with a little teapot and cups and plates and it came with a little doll for the toy too. it was pretty small, you could take it wherever you went!!
Hi!
This was a hard one, I think you might have got several things mixed up. Because it sounds like polly pocket (or polly pocket fakies) mixed with secret surprise. I have photos of both here on my blog if you check the tags. Teapots and cup in the same fashion sounds like Cupcake dolls or Cherry Merry Muffin.I hope some of these were right!
do you have a guide of how to find old toys online? i've tried ebay but is there more things i can do?
No not really I'm afraid, and it's a bit of a treasure hunt that have to do lots with luck and patience so it's hard to make one. But I'll give you some suggestions.Ebay is the biggest and best place to find vintage toys, usually very well tagged so it's easy to find what you're looking for. But you have to check very often. If you have lots of time and patience you can make your search simpler even if you're looking for something more specific, like only searching for My little pony even if you want a Mimic. That can lead you to people selling lots or not being so well read into what they're selling, also giving you a good price. Don't forget to check several ebays for different parts of the world!Another good place is etsy, though it can often be rather pricy, still a good place if you're looking for something specific! People usually know what they're selling.I sometimes check japanese auction sites such as yahoo auctions or mbok, but it's a bit of a struggle having to deal with shopping service.Last but not least is my probably best suggestion but also have to do with knowing right people.Facebook groups! There are many fb groups for toys, both discussing and selling, often both. These can be for your country or worldwide, somtimes for one brand of toys, sometimes for many. There are people that know exactly what they're selling and some having no clue. There's just one problem, it's not as safe to buy from. I've been tricked several times, payed for toys and received nothing. And I can't do anything about it.But with some luck and much making sure the seller is the real deal it's really my best suggestion.Sorry for a rather long post, but I hope this will help you!
Do you know how much a MIB Tea Bunnies playset would be? A flea market was selling one for $12 (and the box was in really nice condition!)
I don't have any Tea Bunnies myself but I've fallen in love with them so I've been looking at them at ebay. The smaller MIB set go for around 40dollars maybe? That's a real lucky find!
hi! my little pony is my favourite thing ever, but people think i'm weird for collecting them because i'm 15 :c have any advice? c:
Why is that weird? You’re never too old to play, neither to young to collect. People always think things because they don’t have a interest of their own, so they annoy people who do.There is no limit how old you need to be to stop playing, or any special age you have to start collecting them instead (or just anyway).I had my first collection when I was about maybe 7-10 years old, Garfield, Furby and those singing hamsters. I still have those things and still buy it when I find it.Just keep collecting, and pity the people complaining for not having a hobby or their own. My little pony is a great thing to collect! There is so much, but still not too much. You can buy one generation or all, but there is always something to find out there! Good luck! ^w^
