In the "Superman Meets Al Capone" segment of Superman 142, cover date January 1961, Superman traveled in time. In the course of the story, he visited ancient times, 1871, 1893, and the 1920s before returning to 1960. During his travels, he met Titano, Al Capone, and a young Perry White. In the "Flame-Dragon from Krypton" segment, the flame-dragons were introduced. They were created by Jerry Siegel and Wayne Boring.
