The anthology comic Action Comics 276 was published with a cover date of May 1961. The "Supergirl's Three Super-Girlfriends" section was a time travel story that involved her meeting up with the Legion of Super-Heroes for the second time in the 30th Century and they offer to let her join their team. That section introduced Phantom Girl, Triplicate Girl, Shrinking Violet, Bouncing Boy, Brainiac 5, and Sun Boy, created by Jerry Siegel and Jim Mooney.
