He knew something was wrong when there was a deep laugh in his head.

“Fuck.” Tom groaned burying his head in the pillow. This wasn’t the first time something had been inside his head but he was mostly able to control it, keeping whatever it was at bay. “I am so not ready for this.” Tom sighed getting up and stumbling to the bathroom.

“Morning.” He looked in the mirror, the voice in his head speaking. He knew that voice, that stupid fucking norwegian accent.

“No…” Tom whispered holding his head. “No no i must be dreaming.”

The voice just laughed.

That fucking laugh.

“GET OUT!” Tom yelled falling to his knees, staring helplessly at the ground.

“I like it in here, roomy.” Tom could hear the fucking smirk in his voice, the stupid fucking face he gave when he knew there was nothing Tom could do.

There was a knocking on his apartment door. “Tom?”

Edds voice.

“Tom we heard yelling are you alright?”

Matt's voice.

Tom stumbled to stand, trying his best to walk to the door, cracking it slightly. “Morning.” Tom mumbled.

“It's the afternoon tom.” Edd said that worried look crossing his face. “You promised you wouldn’t drink.” The tone made Tom flinch. He hated when Edd was disappointed in him, pulling those big puppy dog eyes.

“I didn’t” Tom tried to justify. But what was he supposed to say? ‘By the way your old friend whom you cared about died and is not inside my head and i want to stab myself over and over again’ no i don’t think that would go down well.

“I only had a little.”

Fuck, Tord was speaking for him.

“Tom...we were going to go to asdaf land….” Matt said looking down at his feet.

“Theres still time.” Tom said quickly. “We can still go.”

“Tom...you’re hungover.” Edd said softly. “And last time we took you out hung over it didn't end well…” The burning hospital flashed in his eyes.

“Look i’m not hungover!” Tom said. “He’s in my head!”

“Yea that will, go down well. Tell them i’m dead.”

“Stop speaking through me!” tom bashed his forehead against the door frame.

“Tom?! Tom how much did you drink!” Edd said worriedly grabbing his arms to stop him

“It’s tord.” Tom whispered out. “He’s in my head. You gotta help me Edd, please.” He could hear the laugh.

The smirk.

He could practically smell the fucking cigar smoke.

“Let’s get you to bed.” Edd said softly, leading him back in his apartment.

“You don’t believe me.” tom said softly. “You don’t….you….”

“Edd maybe he’s telling the truth.” Matt offered, following behind.

“Tord is not in his head.” Edd said stubbornly.

“Aw, do you not want to admit that i'm back? Old friend.”

Matt stopped and tom held his head, it kept throbbing every time Tord spoke making Tom want to hurl.

“Tom stop that.” Edd said. His eyes were glossing over.

“Please Edd.” tom whispered his voice cracking. “Help please.”

That was the last thing he heard as he was surrounded by darkness.\
