Add tomatoes and bacon to your breadsticks to make them taste even better. Not only do these Tomato-Bacon Breadsticks look good, but they are also packed full of delicious flavors that will make you want more.
Ingredients: - 1 pound pizza dough. - 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved. - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. - 2 tablespoons olive oil. - 2 cloves garlic, minced. - 1 teaspoon dried oregano. - Salt and black pepper to taste. - Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. On a floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a rectangle. Salt and black pepper should be mixed together in a small bowl with olive oil. Use the olive oil mixture to cover the pizza dough that has been rolled out. Spread the mozzarella cheese shreds out evenly on the dough. Spread the chopped cherry tomatoes and bacon pieces out evenly on top of the cheese. Make a log shape with the dough by rolling it tightly from one of the longer edges. To make the breadsticks, cut the log into 1-inch-wide pieces. Leave space between each breadstick when you put them on a baking sheet. Place the pan in a hot oven and bake the breadsticks for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and the cheese starts to bubble. Take them out of the oven and let them cool down for a while. Add fresh basil leaves on top and serve hot. As a snack or starter, these tasty Tomato-Bacon Breadsticks are great!
