I created a homemade poster frame today for this Against Me! show poster. It was relatively inexpensive compared to those sold at retailers, this cost all of $10 bucks to make.
Poster Frame Ingredients!
4 pieces of thin wood, about 2 inches longer than the poster width; this will allow an inch extra on each side for the screws, so you don't have to damage the poster - the screws will help to pinch the wood together. <\p>
You can stain the wood any color you want. I stained these Special Walnut; let them dry about 5 or so hours - just to avoid the stain transferring to your poster. <\p> <\P>Slide the ends of the poster between the two pieces of wood and then screw together. Put the screws on the backside so you don't see them, or on the front if you want the industrial touch.
Then, just add some simple hanger hooks on the top piece, and your good to hang.

Lately I've been giving a lot of thought to my favorite photos from my short run in the music world and I think this photo is super close to topping that list.
This was shot at the Revival Tour (obviously) and mid song a string broke and I was able to capture this photo. Out of the frame the entire crowd was screaming along the words so loud that it didn't matter that there was no guitar present.
What makes this photo mean even more to me, I'd think, is that I spent my NYE 2012 watching Against Me! play Sink, Florida, Sink at the Masquerade directly at midnight and then a few months I was asked to shoot this show and got this image.
Anywho, enough of me being a ball of sap, I'm just really stoked on this photo and will probably be selling a limited number of prints of it, if anyone may be interested.
I laugh at danger, and break all the rules.
