Hypothetically, If it means anything at all, Cosima could have been going to the light in her vision, until subconsciously her saving grace, Delphine, appeared and said her thing. "The little death" bit could have been about that, about Cosima near death situation, hence "a little" death.

Totally. I think that was the point of Cosima vision. I think we were finally seeing that electric, emotional connection they have. While they have been close throughout the season, I think that particular scene was the first truly emotional moment for them. The other stuff was super fluffy, but that scene was IT, that was the fortification that their love is like no love.
