@jobey-wan-kenobi crap I accidentally deleted the ask (I’m still new to all the features) buut I do remember the ask was for headcannons on Emily (& Toby) soo..
Aside from wanting to fit in with others, I like to think that Emily is also quite high-maintenance w/her looks (mostly taking this from the episode Spic & Span), along with James and Gordon. The difference is that she’s not as concerned about how others would think of her, she just likes looking good herself (and to a lesser extent than the other two)!
As for Toby.. the ship is still quite fresh in my mind, so lemme think... They’re quite low-key with their relationship, but Emily’s definitely not afraid to threaten others stand up for Toby if anyone talks smack about his age! <3
