// Light Up the Ice // This sketch was pure joy for several reasons -- it’s inspired by @throne-of-ashes-and-beauty‘s gorgeous Rowaelin fic which you must read if you haven’t yet; it’s got two things I adore in it - coffee, and hockey (which I drink, and play, respectively); and it’s also my first piece of TOG art ever. I’ve actually only just started reading TOG for the first time, so I haven’t really met Rowan (except through tumblr, oh lord) but I hope I did him & Fireheart justice here. Shelby - I didn’t know what colors Rowan is associated with thematically in the books, so I gave the Staghorn jerseys Pred colors just for you. xx

We haven’t. Neither of us really have the time for Tumblr that we used to anymore. Life happens and we’re both extremely busy.

That and the knowledge that we had impending deadlines to keep and knowing we probably wouldn’t hit them started to drain us, of both our ambition to write and our creativity.

But.

We’re working on something. The most important part? We’re doing it together and we’re doing it for ourselves, not because it’s what’s expected of us. So be on the lookout.

It’ll be quite Lovely.
