I watched the movies yall!!
You know I was watching Instagram and thenĀ Mark Caso's profileĀ (He was on the movies as Leo on the 2 and 3, and honestly, he made him my favourite there too) appeared on my "For you page" and made me remember that I needed to watch the original movies! I choose images from the first movie 'cause it was the only one I found on HD xd
As a new TMNT fan I have 40 years worth of content to EAT so give me some time lol
Fuck it!
Should I add the 90s turtles to my masterlist? I've already added the Shells Tour turtles, and with these I almost have them all (Almost is the key word).
I still haven't watched the 90s movies (and I probably won't, because the costumes kinda scares me, but fuck it. So does the Shell Tour ones), but that haven't held me back before.
Should I write for the 1990's Turtles?
OMFG YES!!
Have you lost your mind @theyhavetakenovermylife?
TMNT voice poll #2
1990
(For simplicity, I am only including the first movie in the poll, not the sequels!)
Which Ninja Turtle from the '90 movie has your favorite voice?
Leo
Raph
Mike
Don
Ok in an all out āno fair fightsā brawl between all the TMNT iterations ( I didnāt include 03 or 07 because I havenāt seen those lol)
Rise boys are DEFINITELY coming out on top, not just because of their must weapons, BUT HAMATO NINPO
(wait would that work against their counterparts?? Can they use it against other Hamatos? But most iterations arenāt Hamato?? Whatever, doesnāt matter, Iām saying they have their Ninpo)
Second place - Bayverse Bros, people theme to forget that they are MUCH bigger than most their counterparts (Donnieās almost 7ft) and BULLETPROOF
Third place - 2012, they are strong, fast , and the most stealthy of the bunch. But itās important to note that they almost always loose the fist battle with a new enemy, throughout their series victories come ļæ¼after they learn about the opponent, come up with a plan, and work together (which doesnāt work to well in this situation, I think theyād have a much better chance of they knew ahead of time) I THINK IT WOULD BE REALLY CLOSE BETWEEN THEM AND BAYVERSE
Fourth- 87, the 2012 guys easily beat them in their crossover, but they tend to get nerfed in the crossovers, they ARE strong fighters and HAVE defeated strong enemies on there own
Fifth - 90, they definitely CAN fight,,,, but,,, uhhhhh,,,, almost all of the villains they face are literally untrained children, their shredder was a real threat but It took all of them, Splinter, April, Casey, and two movies to take him down (and he was just a guy, mutated eventually, but still just a guy) I LOVE THE 90S TURTLES BUT THEY DONāT HAVE A CHANCE
(Again idk where 03 or 07 would go lol)

Hey kids, it's time for some vintage political correctness! It boggles my mind that so many of you weren't even born yet during the height of Turtlemania. TMNT was to my childhood what Pokemon was to yours.
Anyhoo, it's kind of hilarious that the (presumably non-Asian) author cried about anti-Asian racism, yet used the term "Oriental". Objects are oriental. People are Asian (or their specific ethnicities/nationalities). "Oriental" when referring to people has been a frowned-upon expression in America since at least the 1970s.
And did they really expect a bunch of blond white guys to portray a ninja clan from Japan? It's not as if the heroes were white guys either. They were turtles and a rat!
But yeah, there is a lot of foreshadowing for things to come in that review.
Uhhhhhh
