I was making lunch today, when I had a really sad idea for a TMNT crossover.
Picture this 👐:
A bunch of TMNT iterations together in a different TMNT's universe. Let's say they're in the Rise Universe (this will be heart breaking in minute), when some of them notice that the Rise Turtles are lacking a certain blue brother...
The younger iterations are wondering "surely their Leo isn't dead, right?" But the older iterations, especially Ronin Mikey, known that is the case. With Rise Raph, Donnie, and Mikey giving the other Leos such wistful glances. Each at different levels of sadness and discomfort being surrounded by these different versions of their brother.
When asked where their Leonardo is, they confirm the suspicion that their Leo died after their Krang Invasion. After they pulled him out of the prison dimension. Right in their arms. The other iterations learn that Rise Leo was just sixteen when he died, sacrificing himself to save his family, his city, before they could ever compromise for a different plan.
Brutal... So yeah, just me thinking of a big Turtle Crossover, but Rise Leo is dead after the invasion. And the rest of the Rise crew having to interact with different versions of their dead brother/son. At least Ronin and 2012 know how they feel 😬 ...
