Man I hope to see so many new stuff in BotW 2! I want to see how much Hyrule has changed, some towns reconstructed and some in restoration, the villages from last game updated and biger like Hateno Village, new weapons & armors, sidequests and interact more with the people and the enviroment. And having Wolf Link as your partner again.
There really is no telling where this game is gonna go!
the thing that gets me is if its gonna be a full game or a massive expansion to BOTW.
from what we saw in the trailer it looks to be using the exact same assets from BOTW. lighting, rendering, character models heck even down to Links hood and tunic are the same.

aside from the cinematic lighting effects Its just straight up BOTW 2.0 (well duh Amos, thatās exactly what the game is trying to be)
Not that I have a problem with any of that, MM ran nearly entirely off of OOTs assets and was a fantastic game!
But it just raises the question of how or what in Hyrule is gonna change?
It cant be exactly the same even if Nintendo wanted to be that lazy, but the landscape cant change much either without it being an entirely different Hyrule.
so that namely falls to new towns new locations and just new stuff in general.Ā
Just like you said, I would love more towns and villages to visit. and there are plenty of ruined areas that could be rebuilt.
But Pleas PLEASE PLEASE more than anythingĀ give me BOTW castle town!!!
We have only had 2 Castle towns in the series that being OOT and TP, and I crave to see a new version of it!
also Wolf Link tagging along still would be the most awesome thing. even more awesome if it was TP Link himselfĀ *shameless promotion noises*
ButĀ I still canāt quite get my thoughts together on this topic. There is just sooOOOO much I want in the next game and Nintendo usually does their best to meet expatiation so I donāt want to make a ridiculous wish list to over hype me on this game.
Again I really wish I hadnāt known about this because its all Iām gonna be able to think about till the next info dump we get on the subject.
