Tiva: Missing Pieces fics 🔍

For the third night in a row, Tony DiNozzo didn’t sleep. He couldn’t. Not when his gut was telling him that something was left unexplained, something only he could get to the bottom of. And that motherless child deserved to see her mother. He deserved to have his answers.

ACT ONE: RESEARCH

Present day at last, picks up immediately after Tony drops the news about being married to Ziva before.

Tony sniggered. “Thanks for that. So how many questions will your hired goons ask about what happened tonight?”  “My agents ,” she corrected firmly. “And none, if they know what is good for them.” He had a sudden flash of her in charge, focused, determined, a driving force. He wondered how many of her father’s traits showed up in her leadership despite her best efforts to stifle them.  Tony turned, planning to head to his seat, but instead, found himself drawn almost magnetically to fit himself behind Hanson's desk, the spot he'd occupied five years earlier, directly opposite Ziva. They viewed each other across the space, the same way they had for years before everything went wrong.

"Do you forgive me? Do you-" She asks and he swallows her words, again and again, as if he'd ever need to forgive her anything. She seems young, suddenly - desperately young, and he feels like an old man jaded by chasing her around the world ten times over.

When a routine investigation goes wrong, Gibbs, Tony and Ziva find themselves in a less than ideal situation - Stuck in a snowstorm in Canada and captured by a group of ruthless criminals.

An NCIS work of fiction.

Despite Tony‘s attempt at mediating, Tali had gone to her room and had closed the door behind her with a loud “thump”. Her mother, for her part, had gone straight to bed lamenting a migraine and lack of appetite. Tony, barely understanding what had happened, had been left with a whole pot of cholent for himself and no one to talk to.
