I want to thank Bruce @ The Billy Graham Evangelist Association (Response Center) where I use to work who prayed with me yesterday for Allan. He is recovering slowly and I have become so dependent upon him since 2014 due to my health decline. Life sure has changed so fast and I am still mourning the loss of my friend who passed a week ago. I might finally give it a whirl though.  I like the fact that they made one of the gals in the gang brown though, but iirc I remember hearing that the name of her and the other friend was different than in the books?  But Georgia's bestie was the same.  Lol this is a confusing sentence my bad.

Yeah, but I'd argue that gypped just as a term is blatantly racist regardless of context.  But yeah, when people use it I try to tell them where that term comes from and what it implies :S
