best concept ever is percy being a cryptid to everyone at camp. i mean to us he's just percy the silly sarcastic main character who we all love and know but. thats because. we're the readers. thats what percy sees himself as, just the goofy lil guy who is no danger whos just there, and so thats how he describes himself to us. but honestly. imagine he's the only big 3 kid at camp for like 4 years since Thalia ran off with the Hunters and Nico prefers to train in the Underworld, and so people are just like???? he's important???? and anyways he has the craziest fucking powers anyone's ever seen and he's friends with all the head counselors but at the same time he's not even a full time camper? like he just pops up every summer to help save the world and then disappears back into the void of mortal school???? u saw him doing math homework once during a raid by the light of grenade blasts. sometimes you'll see blackjack taking off at 3am on a Monday morning bc he has to be in New York in time for school to begin. he straight up just insults gods and titans without giving a damn and at first you think its because he's been doing this so long that he doesn't care but then you find out that actually??? he's only been doing this for like two years??? it's not that he doesn't care if they kill him its that he's literally still kind of new to this shit so he doesn't realize that they might actually kill him. or maybe he does and he actually doesn't care, you'll never know. anyways he's nice enough but not very good at making friends, sticks to his cabin-counselor friend group and doesn't leave it, u heard that he (accidentally) blew up a volcano once (mt. st. helens explosion of 2021), michael yew once asked him out of morbid curiosity if he can control blood and he just shrugged and went 'idk'. get the fuck out of here weirdo
