Thinking about tinyformers TFO Primes...teeny tiny Alpha Trion...cleaning him up would be so easy if he fit in your lap. I imagine mini-him would be the size of an average cat, both bot-mode and alt-mode (alot heavier though). Using a nice soft microfiber cloth (the kind that's made for drying car windows, y'know?), soft-bristle toothbrush, and a small wirebrush to gently remove any rust. Giving him soft lil scrubbies on his plating and in between his seams, feeling his purrs rumble through you, the vibrations strong enough to tickle your legs and make you hold in giggles in case it might make him stop.
The hardest part in this case would be having to use tweezers to get all the extra little crud out of his transformation seams >:/ rude little pebbles and what-not.
Taking his lil cape to hand-wash it too. (On another note, the way that thing looks is cool, the way it shimmers makes me think it's a type of mesh fabric!) Hmm, would he like a scented soap or would he prefer a free-and-clear type? 🤔 I like to think that bots with beast-modes have stronger senses like an animal, such as smell, so he might not like perfumes very much. Using a soap he likes and just dipping the toothbrush in a bowl of water for wetness since plopping him in a bath might irritate any rust he may have.
Finishing it all up with a big fluffy towel to dry off any excess water and wrapping him up in a purrito. He falls into recharge all warm and clean and safe. Getting 50 years of gunk removed is tiring for little aliens after all. 😮💨 You let him stay all cozy in your lap while he naps, ignoring the numbness in your legs and planning to give him a nice polish when he wakes up. <3
