I spent some time making my desktop look nice. A lot of it is still the default hyprland theme, but I've enjoyed messing around with the hypr ecosystem!

Using tiling window manager in Linux can be tricky with all those configuration. Regolith gives you an out of box i3wm experience within Ubuntu.
okay so worth mentioning if you rely on default window size for your browser at any point, a tiling wm will override that (like i3 or bspwm or qtile etc.) so check if you can override the override by forcing your browser (or specific browser profile) to launch in floating mode
for cases where browser fingerprinting matters
Question: favorite tiling window manager?
Master Switching With dwm
A few months ago I switched from Awesome, to Xmonad, to dwm (once I decided that Xmonad felt sluggish, which compared to dwm it really was). Something I've recently been painfully missing has been the ability to switch which window was the current master between tiles. This was remedied today with [this](http://dwm.suckless.org/patches/movestack-5.8.2.diff), which can be installed with patch -p1 < movestack-5.8.2.diff.diff if you choose to download it to your dwm directory. Some manual tweaking might be necessary, but that is more than simple enough with the minimal code of the lightweight window manager.

Simple, small and extensible. It's easy to write your own layouts, widgets and built-in commands. Configured entirely in Python.
Command-line shell that allows all aspects of Qtile to be manipulated and inspected.
Complete remote scriptability - write scripts to set up workspaces, manipulate windows, update status bar widgets and more.
Qtile's scriptability has made thorough unit testing possible, making it one of the best-tested window managers around.
Since one of Qtile's aims is to stay out of your way, there's usually not much to show off in a screenshot. That said, here's an image showing some of Qtile's built-in widgets in bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
