I yearn for much more Morgenstern and Wayland family lore. I fear i do not know nearly enough about either of them as i would like. Im so intrigued by the houses that Jace once thought he himself belonged to. But also, they are both such infamous families within the shadowhunter community, yet we hardly have any info on them outside the main 3 morgensterns (Valentine, Sebastian, and Clary) and the main 2 Waylands (Michael, and the inquisitor that tortured Annabelle) β which even then we barely have any actually info on them.
Also, we only ever really saw them in TMI, which i think is the main distinction between other families, like the Herondales, Lightwoods, Fairchilds, and Blackthorns, is in my mind. The latter were integral to the main TMI trilogies, and since the Morgensterns and Waylands were also a massive part of the og trilogy, i initially assumed they would also be explored in later books.
