31 Tickle Drabbles in October đ§Ą
Hi all! This will be the post where I'll eventually collect my Tickletober fics in a masterlist, starting t
Soooo this is a request from my sister as she watched Umbrella Academy after her exams. I'm surprised she watched such a violent show, lol. Sooo sorryyy if none of you guys are interested in Umbrella Academy, but I like it too (only seasons 1 and 2 at least)
She asked if I could do a lee!five cuz... ya know she likes the 58 year old kid. And guess what? So do I...
Personal opinion... I actually watched it because of Klaus, and now I like five too hehe so ig the little guy deserves a little tickle. (Personally, I like seasons 1 and 2... five and klaus were the best in them)
Enjoyyyy, this is kinda based on season 1
"Just what did you expect? A hug?"
Klaus lowered his arms with a pout, Luther frowns a little, "We just missed you, buddy, but the moment you return, you're always going on and on about the apocalypse..."
Five's eye twitched, "I'm not a masochistic douche bag to just torture myself about doomsday! I'm trying to save you!"
The final words came in a slight quiver... a surprising tone from the usually snarky old timer. He then sneered, "Now leave me be..."
"You need to rest five..." Diego steps in front of him but Five teleports past him, with a scoff, looking back, "I don't need you to nag, I'm older and wiser... smarter and stronger... so dont tell me what to do"
Klaus hums, "Uhh technically-"
"None of that! You get logical, and the doomsday will be cursed!"
"Ah! Rude, " Klaus scoffed flamboyantly. Then the moment Five attempts to leave Luther easily grabbed him by the armpits, lifting him up.
"Nope, you're not going anywhere, mister," Luther says nonchalantly.
Five startled now kicked his legs, growling, "Unhand me, you big stupid -gahaha!"
He barked a laugh when Diego smirked poking him middle. Klaus placed a hand to his mouth, mockingly, "Ticklish old man?"
Five grunts, "Damn you ahahahahasshohohole! ahaha shihihit!"
Luther mildly chided still holding Five in place, "Now now, what you need a good rest... and no cussing"
"AHAHALL OHOHOF YOU AHAHAHARE CRAHAHAZY!" Five shrieked, giggling and squirming, a rare sound, and it's pretty hard to catch Five when he's teleporting. Once you catch him, he's done for -and he can't teleport away.
Klaus playfully poked his knees, "Fiverson... its bad to be sleep deprived... you will be forever short stack"
Luther let's Five go, now squeezing his shoulders as Five gasps and pants, "We just worry for you brother"
Diego nods agreeing and Klaus hummed, slightly similarly. Five takes a moment to look at them and then Glares, "Fine! As you fucking wish!"
He tried teleporting but fails as he sigh. Ugh...
"Then I'll take that damn couch!" Five collapsed there, instantly knocked off to sleep. Diego, Luther and Klaus watched their youngest/oldest brother peaceful and relaxed for the first time.
"If he wasn't such an asshole he's actually super cute..." Klaus grins.
Diego snorted, "Buddy is a cute bastard"
Luther sighs, "An endearing prick..."
They all come to an accord, leaving Five dozed off.

Request by @veryblushyswitch : "Yay requests!! Iâd love something for Umbrella Academy. Maybe something with lee Five and ler Klaus. I love their dynamic and I love the idea that maybe Five is feeling a little touch starved so he goes to Klaus to ask for a hug or something and Klaus finds out heâs still ticklish. Hope youâre doing well and take all the time you need đ"
Content warnings: tickling, swearing, short mention of trauma
A/N: thank you so much for the request, I love Five and Klaus and had so much fun writing this one!! I really hope you like how it turned out :)
"Five?"
His brother's voice made Five snap out of his thoughts with a startle. He blinked and looked at Klaus who was eyeing him with something between curiosity and concern.
"Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt your spacing-out. You just looked so... sad", he finished after a moment of hesitation. He anticipated a snarky comeback about minding his own business, but to his surprise Five just sighed. After a moment of silence, the latter started speaking.
"Do you..." Klaus tilted his head and eyeballed his brother since he'd broken off almost as soon as he'd started talking. "Do I what?", he questioned after a while. Five pressed his lips together and flashed him a glance before quickly averting his gaze again. "Do you promise that you won't ask questions?"
Klaus raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry but I can't promise that, if you're about to start telling me some wicked plan of yours about manipulating someone into doing something I need to know who and when- yeah okay okay I promise. No questions. Promise." The murderous glare disappeared from Five's face as soon as his brother agreed to his conditions and was replaced by an almost shy expression. He cleared his throat and threw Klaus another look to make sure he was listening because he wasn't sure if he could say this twice.
"Can- can you hug me?"
Klaus' jaw dropped and a look of sorrow flashed over his face, but it was closely followed by a smile as he eagerly got up from his chair and made his way over to Five.
"Of course I can!", he said and wrapped his arms around his smaller brother's body. He could feel him tense slightly and understood that despite the fact he'd asked for it, physical affection could still be a lot to handle for him. So he tried his best to make him feel comfortable by cracking a joke. "I have to say, asking me for a hug was a remarkable choice. You know, because our height difference allows this perfectly comfortable position- Ow!"
Klaus gasped when he received a playful slap to his arm. "Shut up", Five murmured, but Klaus could hear the smile in his voice. They remained like that for a while, both relaxing into the hug. Klaus gently stroked his hand up and down his brother's back. However, he noticed that whenever he got too close to his sides, Five would start twisting slightly. An idea popped up in his mind and he began doing it more on purpose, observing his brother's reactions. When he traced the full length of his side with his fingertips, he saw Five's outline flashing blue and he stopped at once, hugging him tighter.
"No no no, don't blink away now. We both know you need this", he asserted. Five began squirming in his brother's hold. "I didn't mean you should squeeze me to death! Hey, what are you- Klaus!"
The feeling of gentle fingertips spidering over his sides, accompanied by some random pinches and pokes, made Five squirm. And before he knew what was happening, a stream of light laughter was pouring out of him. Soon the sensations stopped again and Five was released from his brother's grip.
"Oh, I knew it! You're still ticklish!", Klaus exclaimed triumphantly. Five bit his lip and thought about denying it for a moment, but the stream of bubbly laughter he'd let out mere seconds ago wouldn't really back him up, so he decided to just go with the truth for once. "Apparently so."
He'd meant to scoff the words, or at least say them through clenched teeth, but his voice did neither of that. He sounded calm when he spoke, almost untroubled, and one had to listen carefully to pick up the undertone in his voice, which was that of... surprise. After all those years he'd spent in the apocalypse and working for the commission, it was sometimes hard for him to remember the time before all of that. The time when they were all still kids and the rare but precious moments when they got to behave like kids. The games. The pranks. The teasing. The chasing. The tickle fights. All of it had somehow gotten lost in the very back of Five's memory.
But the sensation of fingers wiggling against his side and the laughter bubbling in his throat had somehow unlocked the door to all of those memories. And the surprise in his voice was caused by his realization that something still remained that linked him to those happy memories from their past, their childhood. Even if it was something as simple as still being ticklish. The pondering silence was interrupted by his brother.
"Five, when was the last time someone tickled you?", Klaus asked, his voice laced with sincere concern. Nevertheless, Five couldn't help but scoff. "Is that a serious question?"
When he saw Klaus flinch at the bitterness of his voice, he immediately felt bad. He sighed and shrugged. "Something along the lines of forty-five years, I guess. Being the only survivor of an apocalypse and working as an assassin wasn't all that touchy-feely."
Klaus remained silent. When he still didn't speak after several seconds, Five lifted his head to look at him. His brother met his gaze and held it. There were a lot of emotions in his eyes and Five could understand why he wasn't speaking because the words to express his empathy didn't really exist. But besides those kinds of emotions, there was something else. A glint of mischief that Five had seen pass through his brother's expression so many times before. Before he could think of a way to react to this discovery, Klaus suddenly clapped his hands.
"Alright, I think I gave you enough time to blink away but - surprise! - you're still here. So I won't feel too bad about this because I know that some part of you wants it as much as I do." Five's eyes widened comically when his brother grabbed him and began pinching up and down his left side. He had to fight to keep his laughter at bay as it wanted to burst out immediately.
"Klaus no", he gasped, desperately trying to catch his wrists. Klaus halted and smirked at him. "Oh come on, you're smart Five! You can't tell me that you thought I was just going to let this go when you've just told me that you haven't been tickled in more than forty years! You've suffered enough trauma and you deserve all the hugs and tickles and brotherly affection I can give to you and I want to make you happy!"
Five felt an incredible warmth spread inside his body. He was sure that Klaus knew his words meant something to him, but he didn't think he realized just how much he'd needed to hear them. However, Five was still Five. And if there was one thing Five Hargreeves wasn't good at, it was sincerely responding to such heart-felt words. So he just huffed and tried to break free from Klaus' hold.
"This isn't making me- no Klaus wait, wahait! Ahaha Gohod!"
Shit. He'd definitely forgotten what it felt like, because this was so much worse than what he'd anticipated. The hands squeezing up and down his ribcage sent ticklish shocks through his body and every finger poking in between two ribs or scratching along them set his nerves on fire. The intensity of the sensations hit him so hard that his knees instantly began to buckle. Klaus cackled when he felt his helplessly laughing brother go limp in his hold while at the same time trying to curl up.
"Five, have you become more ticklish? Because I don't recall making you collapse with laughter being this easy."
Five felt his face heating up at the teasing and the noises he was letting out definitely didn't make it better. "Shut uhup!", he cried out in a to his dismay unusually high-pitched voice. When Klaus' hands reached the uppermost part of his brother's ribcage and he started scribbling away while sneaking some wiggling fingers under his arms, Five couldn't hold himself upright any longer. He made one last attempt to break free, but when that didn't work his legs gave in and he sunk to the ground.
The mean thing was that Klaus' hands simply followed him. And before he could even curl up on the floor properly, his brother had climbed on top of him to straddle his waist. Five gasped for air and weakly shook his head.
"Klaus please... Dohon't." He internally cursed himself for the giggles that kept slipping out because the tickling had momentarily stopped and they were purely anticipatory. Klaus winked at him.
"Okay wow, I didn't expect you to beg, Five. Does it really tickle that badly?" Five felt the heat emanating from his cheeks. He was going to murder Klaus for this.
"I don't beg you fucking-"
Five cut himself off with a sharp inhale when he felt fingers making contact with the bare skin of his stomach. "Sorry, what was that? I didn't fully understand, you slurred towards the end", Klaus said, the image of innocence. Five opened his mouth to sass him, but all that escaped was a gasp and a muffled squeal. His hands immediately shot forwards and he grabbed his brother's wrists, trying to tug them away and make the light tracing along his waistline stop. But most of his strength had already left him and it was way too easy for Klaus to reverse his grip and move his arms to his left and right where he pinned them down with his knees. Five tried to struggle and break free, but his stupid child-body wasn't able to achieve much.
When Klaus slipped his hands underneath the fabric of his shirt once more and continued tracing his nails in random patterns all across his tummy and sides, Five couldn't help but burst out giggling. He squeezed his eyes shut and one of his heels was scraping against the floor. Klaus' eyes were glinting fondly while he was laughing alongside his brother.
"I know you don't like it when people tell you, but you look really, really adorable right now." Five couldn't bring himself to answer, he just shook his head and continued giggling. But when Klaus switched to ever so lightly spidering up and down his stomach, he gasped and tried to curl in on himself.
"Klaus, p-plehease! Damn it, why ihis this so much wohorse?"
Klaus clicked his tongue. "It's the anticipation, Five. Your brain knows how much worse it could get if I properly tickled you, so it's constantly warning you of that, which then makes it tickle a lot more than it actually would. Funny, don't you think?" If Five hadn't been busy trying to survive the sensations electrifying his body, he would have murdered Klaus right then and there. He kicked his leg and tugged at his pinned arms until he miraculously managed to free one, which he immediately wrapped around his torso to block access to his belly the best he could.
Klaus tutted. "No no, that's not right. I wasn't finished so you're not supposed to interrupt. See, that's better." He'd grabbed Five's wrist and leaned a bit forward so he could pin it down level with his shoulder. As soon as he had perfect access to his brother's upper body again, he recommenced his attack - only this time with the intensity Five's anticipation had been warning him about. Even though he had only one hand left, Klaus was doing a great job at reducing his brother to a squirming pile of giggles. He'd started by pinching all of his ribs and wiggling his fingers into his underarms, then he'd moved his hand outwards and was now vigorously tickling up and down at the transition from side to back.
Five was in hysterics. His whole body was trembling with laughter and he kept gasping for air to try and form words. By the time he'd caught his breath, his brain was so fuzzy that all he managed was a giggly "fuhuck you".
Klaus raised his eyebrows. "Rude", he commented and vibrated his claw-shaped hand into Five's tummy. That was all it took to push Five to the verge of silent laughter, shifting in and out of it. He wasn't struggling or squirming anymore, he just lay there with his head thrown back, his eyes tightly shut and the brightest smile possible present on his face, all the while his body was shaking with laughter. Klaus delighted in his brother's frantic reactions, but he didn't want to completely overwhelm him and eventually slowed down a bit.
"Who would've thought that dear old Five was capable of making such cute noises?", he teased nevertheless, not ready yet to show him mercy on this aspect.
Five growled - and it actually sounded like a growl, despite the giggles that were still pouring out of him. "I hope you knohow I will kill you for this twice!"
To his dismay, his menace didn't seem to bother Klaus much. The latter simply squeezed below his ribs - which made him squeal, goddammit - before he drew both his hands back and crossed his arms. Five quickly pulled his arm down that was now no longer pinned and held it up in defense. He didn't like the look on his brother's face.
"You know, I liked it better when you were begging instead of cursing and threatening me. But luckily, I have this one very special childhood memory that should help us make that right again."
Five panicked the instant he saw his brother reaching behind his back. "Klaus don't you-" He cut himself off with a sharp inhale.
Klaus couldn't help but smirk. "Don't I what? Don't I dare? Is that what you were gonna say? See, that's the problem, everything that doesn't involve a 'please' is most likely a threat, coming from you. And I don't like being threatened. But especially not when the person threatening me clearly is in no position to be doing so."
Five tried really hard to keep it together, but the fingers slowly but surely pressing into his knee from all sides made his anticipation flare up again and he couldn't stop the stupid, wobbly smile from forming on his lips. He internally screamed at his body and nerves and brain to shut up, to let him keep this last ounce of dignity and not start begging before it had even started. But Klaus was just too good at his game. He curled his fingers around his kneecap and squeezed it once, ever so lightly. And that was enough. Five burst into anticipatory giggles and helplessly shook his head.
"P-please, Klaus dohon't, I can't. Just- stop being so gentle!"
"Why? Is it making it worse?"
Five groaned and covered his blushing face with his free arm. It took him every last ounce of self-restraint to not punch his brother in the face. "You know it does!", he hissed, or at least he tried to hiss. The sound he made bore actually a lot more resemblance to a whine.
Klaus laughed and decided to finally have some kind of mercy. "Okay okay okay, I'll make it quick and painless. But I'm afraid that doesn't mean it'll tickle any less." He didn't give Five the chance to respond, which the latter was actually glad about, and promptly began squeezing just above his right knee.
The ticklish shock made Five attempt to sit up, but Klaus easily managed to push him back down and keep him there with a hand hovering above his chest. He switched to the left knee and gave it the same treatment, then he switched again and skittered his nails all over the kneecap. Five desperately tried to angle his legs, but all he managed was drumming and scraping his heels against the ground.
Fingers worming their way to the back of his knee and ceaselessly tickling all over the sensitive skin there made Five's laughter rise in pitch and volume. He'd managed to free his second hand as well and attempted to sit up or fight his brother off, but every time the ticklish sensations made him collapse back to the ground. His strength had completely left him as he'd been reduced to a giggling puddle. With a gasp for air, he managed to splutter a final plea before his brain got pushed beyond any coherence.
"Plehease! Mercy!"
It took him a while to realize that the tickling had stopped and that Klaus' hands were rubbing his knees to get rid of the lingering sensations. When he opened his eyes and made eye contact, his brother smiled at him before he climbed off of his thighs and finally, finally let him curl up on the floor. Five was panting heavily and residual giggles kept spilling out, but he was way too exhausted to care. Once he'd recollected himself a bit, he sat up and wiped his eyes before flashing Klaus a side glance.
"The right person to ask for a hug, my ass!", he murmured, trying and failing to sound annoyed. Klaus snickered. "Again, you could've blinked away at any time-"
"It doesn't work like that, I have to concentrate! Which is kind of hard to do when your brother is busy torturing you", he exclaimed with a reproachful look. Klaus rolled his eyes. "Oh don't give me that look, we both know you needed it - and maybe even enjoyed- no? No, okay sure, you didn't enjoy it, I totally believe you."
Five closed his eyes and deeply exhaled. He definitely didn't blush. "Klaus, for your own sake, do not test my patience right now."
His brother gave him a playful shove. "Of course, I've got better things to do anyways. Like telling our siblings that they can still make you squeak with a pinch to your knee!" He was getting up from the floor and walking towards the door, only to find Five appearing there in a flash of blue.
"I did warn you", he said in a low and controlled voice and okay, Klaus had to admit, it was kind of intimidating. He raised his hands in surrender and took a step back. "Okay I won't, I won't tell them. Promise. I mean they will probably find out eventually, but not from me. Now... How about we go get a drink before you put your revenge plan into action?"
Five chuckled. Seeing his brother resile restored at least some of his dignity. "Fine. I need more time to plot my vengeance, anyway, might as well do it over a drink."
He turned in the door frame and walked out of the room. For a moment, Klaus felt relieved, he hadn't expected this to work. But when he heard his brother call "you coming?" from the hallway, he realized that he was going to live in constant anticipation of an attack for the next - minutes? Hours? Days?
Damn it, he thought to himself as he followed Five out of the room. He'd unintentionally taught the old man too much. Now he could do nothing but wait for his payback.
But he quickly pushed that thought aside when he recalled Five's smile and his high-pitched laughter. Whatever fix he was in now, it had been totally worth it.
A/N Am I the only one who cannot read, hear or say the word 'rude' without having to think of that scene in season 2 where Klaus asks that dude in the 60s what year it is? xD
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this! And sorry if you found any weird expressions or grammar mistakes, I don't know why but my English felt so off while I was writing this. I did my best, though ^^
AN: Better late than never! Hereâs everyoneâs favorite grumpy old man & himbo brother, aka Five & Luther. They have such a fun dynamic, & I always enjoy writing them. As always, enjoy!Â
Luther had forgotten how much he enjoyed Five's company because it'd been so long since he'd spent time with him. And after his disappearance, Reginald discouraged any mention of their brother unless it was to be used as a cautionary example of what would happen if they went against him. But Luther didn't want to unpack all of that at the moment.
He had never considered himself a funny guy, mostly because his siblings wouldn't laugh at his attempts at a joke. Which is why he felt an unusual sense of pride when he told a lame joke and Five nearly doubled over snickering to himself.
"I almost forgot you had dimples," Luther said fondly, giving Five's shoulder a pat. He immediately stopped laughing and schooled his features into their resting bitch face position.
"I don't."
Luther arched a brow and gave him a look.
"Uh, yes you do."
"Only when I smile," he argued. That made Luther chuckle, shaking his head.
"That's kind of the point of dimples. It's not a bad thing, they make you look cute. Restore some of that lost innocence," he teased.
"I don't need to restore shit," Five grumbled, grabbing the pot of coffee. He poured himself a large mug full, only adding a single packet of sweetener.
"You could restore some of those manners Dad taught us," he said, grinning smugly when Five turned to glare at him.
"Maybe you should respect your elders," Five challenged. Luther barked out a laugh.
"That's rich coming from you," he smirked walking up beside him to pour himself some coffee. "You've never respected your elders," he said, ruffling his hair. Five ducked away and swatted his hand.
"They've never earned my respect," he deadpanned, but failed to hide his smirk. Luther threw an arm over his shoulders, shaking his body.
"Luther, whahat the hehell?" he scolded through laughter, not really minding the playful affection.
"Well that's a sound I haven't heard in years. Do it again."
"What are you talking ahahabout! Hehehey quit ihihit!" Five shrieked as his brother dug his fingers into his sides.
"Aww I almost forgot how cute your laugh is!" he cooed, one hand clawing over his tummy, the other climbing up his ribs.
"Just shuhut uhuhup!" he cried out. Luther rolled his eyes and scribbled behind his fingers behind his ears. His knees buckled and he squealed, falling into an endless stream of giggles.
As if summoned, Diego appeared in the doorway.
"Thought I heard Five laughing and had to see for myself." Diego leaned against the doorframe, an amused grin plastered on his face.
"Ohoho piss ohohoff!" Five snapped, though his words held no real malice.
"Well that's rude. Think I need to help Luther here show you some manners," he mused, taking a step closer.
"Nohoho!"
"I wouldn't be opposed. Get over here," he invited, waving their brother over.
Five was convinced his family would be the death of him, especially if they kept teasing him like this.
laur!! omg pls im like just thinking about ler!lila and lee!five being a little shit and getting wrecked,, gimme ur thoughts on Them!!
PLEASE OKAY UM
LILA??? IS SO TEASY just in general??? but with five? omg sheâs BRUTAL
she loves squeezing at his knees and tasing at his ribs the best bc it gets him to SCREAM so suddenly and itâs peak comedy to her
fiveâs such an ass though like he always has to have the last word (usually some snarky remark) so ofc that doesnât go unpunished if lilaâs around
sheâll be squeezin and pokin at every spot possible like âwhat do you say?â looking for an apology, but heâll just be curled up and red in the face like âF-FUCK OFF!!!!â which only provokes her more
âiâll stop when you say sorry, mr. giggles!â â>:(((( NO! SHI *hic* SHUTTHEFUCKUPâ
sheâs def made him pass out before (which he would never EVER admit) LMAO bc again she is Ruthless but doesnât wanna kill him. she knows he wonât die,,, but she loves seeing him close to doing so (especially if she can see his dimples in the process)
âDid you just giggle?â For the fic meme? // @tickle-bugs
âI donât giggle. Iâm not a child.â
âWell, I hate to break it to you, dear brother of mine...But you kind of are,â Klaus replied. âAnd that was definitely a giggle.â
Five didnât have a chance to argue before Klaus grabbed at his sides and squeezed, causing another undignified soundâthat was absolutely not a giggleâto leave his mouth.
Klaus was grinning like a maniac, and Five was spluttering out every curse word he knew (other languages included).
Unlike Diego probably would have, Klaus didnât try to make Five admit anything or call uncle. He was just enjoying making his brother laugh, and even though he kind of wanted to strangle him for it, Five still found it kind of sweet.
Send me the first line of a fic, and Iâll write the next 5.

A/N: Hi everybody! This is a collaborative fic (wow!) that @ticklishhargreeves and I have been working on for a while, based on an idea that we came up with together about three weeks ago. We wanted to incorporate a bunch of the headcanons weâve come up with recently into a fic. We hope you enjoy!!
Allisonâs room could best be described as a bit of a time capsule; posters from the beginning and middle of her career, drawings that sheâd made and been gifted as a child, and family photos in the form of newspaper clippings. Going through the drawers and boxes under her bed provided nearly endless entertainment. A small gasp escaped from her grin when she pulled out one specific piece of paper that sheâd forgotten about â a somewhat poorly drawn chart that depicted each of the Hargreeves siblingsâ most ticklish spots. The tickle fights theyâd had as children were sparse, considering they only really had free time for about an hour a week, but damn, were they competitive. This was the cheat sheet that sheâd made to always get the upper hand.Â
The colored pencil had smudged a bit, but Allison could still make out the faint markings of each of her brothersâ names. She smiled to herself, leaning back on a stack of books to read the chart. Theyâd been so young then, but she could still hear their laughter echoing down the mansion hallways, as clear as anything. She let out a small laugh at a note in the margin: Ask Mom for acrylic nails before next week.
âEverything okay?â Luther was leaning against her door frame, just a bit bigger than when they were kids, but still with that same kind smile. She smiled back.
âJust reminiscing. Check this out!â She held up the faded piece of paper for him to read.
âNo way!â the large figure exclaimed, gently taking the chart from Allisonâs hand and sitting on the side of her bed to look at it. âThis is from all our ââÂ
âTickle fights,â Allison interrupted with a laugh, âyeah. Crazy, right?â
âYeah,â an awkward chuckle from Luther masked the slight nervousness he felt reading his name accompanied by the bullet-pointed notes: squeeze his calves, scribbles under toes, tops of feet are weirdly ticklish??, kicks a lot. âGod, I havenât been tickled in⊠years, probably.â
âYou were so cute,â Allison giggled, and Luther wasnât entirely sure that he liked the look she was giving him. âI wonder if this is still accurate.â
Luther cleared his throat. âYeah, well, um, no way to know for sure, so-â
She had tackled him to the bed before he even knew what was happening. âOnly one way to find out.â
She sat across his knees - âYou kick, remember?â - and gave one of his calves a squeeze. Luther bolted upright, gasping.
âUm, I think thereâs another way to find out! See, I could just tell you-â
âNo,â Allison smiled, squeezing again and enjoying the desperate noise her brother made. âIâve gotta test it to know for sure.â
He got as far as âWait, Allison, please-â before he was choking back giggles, trying to worm his way out of Allisonâs hold as her long nails skated over his ankles. She grinned.
âOkay, so squeezing your legs still definitely works. How about your feet?â
âNo!â Luther cried, burying his face in a pillow and nearly squealing as she traced gentle lines over his soles. Allison giggled at the sound, scribbling over his heels and leaning forward to keep his straining legs from kicking.
âFeet are still pretty bad too. Thank God the serum didnât affect these, huh?â She skittered her nails around the tops of his feet, and Luther let out a screech into his pillow. It was taking all of his strength to not⊠well, use his strength.Â
âYou remember that pedicure I dragged you into, right?â she laughed at the memory, and again at Lutherâs quick nod into the pillow.
The screech turned into an uncharacteristically high-pitched yelp when Allison held his toes back with one hand, and skittered beneath them with the other. Finally, heâd began to laugh an endearingly childlike giggle. âAH - Allison,â he attempted to catch his breath with a forceful gasp as his massive arms squeezed the pillow to his face, and his legs shook, âAllison!â
Allison laughed at him and his sounds, almost not wanting to stop. âAlright, alright, I donât want to kill you. Not yet, anyway.â She rolled off his legs to lay next to him on the bed, grinning from ear to ear. âLooks like your weak spots are still the same!â
Luther groaned, trying to catch his breath through the pillow (he wasnât confident enough in the color of his face yet to look at her). âThat was mean.â
âHey, I was just consulting the chart!â
âYou wrote the chart!â
âAnd I stand by it,â she teased, giving his leg a poke that made him twitch. She grabbed the paper and left the room, satisfied that her victim was suitably tickled out.
Luther rolled onto his back, panting. âScrew that chart.â
â
As she was leaving the room, Allison couldnât help but notice the absence of Vanyaâs name on the chart. It wasnât a surprising fact. They never included her in anything as children, not even tickle fights. This fact still broke Allisonâs heart, but of course, with the opportunity to make up for lost time, itâd be foolish not to take it⊠right?Â
After spotting her much smaller sister reading on the couch, Allison made her way downstairs and plopped down right next to Vanya with a grin.Â
Ever since their trip to the 60s, the sisters certainly developed a strong bond. Allison was, quite possibly. the one sibling that Vanya felt the most comfortable with; Klaus being a close second. Her attention drew away from the book in her hands, and towards her smiling sister. âHey, Allison.â Vanya smiled, setting her book down, saving her place.
âHey, um,â Allison subtly hid the chart by her other side, raising an eyebrow with a mischievous glint in her eye, âVanya, are you ticklish? By any chance?âÂ
âUh,â Vanya chuckled, shifting awkwardly with a shrug, âI - I think so. I mean, sometimes Sissy would touch my neck and it would feel kinda funny. Like the back, right here?â She touched the back of her neck to show her scheming sister exactly where she was ticklish. Big mistake.
âOh,â Allison chuckled, not expecting this to be so easy. She sneakily reached her arm around the back of the couch, âLike, right⊠here?âÂ
Vanya twitched, letting out something akin to a squeak as her shoulders jumped up beside her ears. âI think - hey!â Her sister had begun tracing wicked fingers along the crease of her neck, her nails sliding effortlessly between the wrinkles to get at the weakest points. Vanya scrunched like a turtle, reaching back to swat at the offending hands, but the light touch made her limbs turn to jelly and her effort was not very coordinated. The endless stream of bubbly giggles, however, was new.Â
Allisonâs face lit up. âLooks like you are ticklish.â
Understatement of the century. Vanya opened her mouth to speak, but all that came out was a squeal when Allisonâs tickles wandered down from her neck and over her shoulders, sneaking pokes in under her arms.Â
âWhere else, I wonderâŠâ Allison mused, and slid her hands down her sisterâs sides. Vanyaâs spine nearly snapped with how quickly she arched her back, letting out a gasp. âOh, here?â
âAllison, please!â
âPlease what?â She tapped a nail on the curve of Vanyaâs waist, prompting a high-pitched giggle. Vanya shook her head, seemingly struck dumb by the overwhelming feeling. Another pinch to her side, and she wriggled, curling in on herself. Unfortunately, this left the back of her neck unguarded, and with a smile, Allison reached to tickle her there.Â
Vanya squealed. âPlease, I canât - mercy!â
Allison laughed at her sisterâs reactions, easing off to just rub her shoulders. âOkay, so, neck and sides? Those are the big ones?â
The sigh of relief that escaped Vanya was soothing. âI - I guess so. I think?â
âWell, I still have more exploring to do, but I can be merciful for now,â Allison replied with a wink. âIâll add you to the chart.â
âChart?â
âYeah, see?â She pulled out the piece of paper. Vanyaâs eyes lit up.
âOh my God, this is adorable. How old were we when you made this?â
Allison smiled. âI donât know, ten maybe? We used to have these epic battlesâŠâ She trailed off, catching her sisterâs eyes. âIâm sorry we didnât - â
Vanya held up a hand to silence her. âItâs okay. Iâm included now.â She raked her gaze over the paper in her hands. âLuther was ticklish on his feet?â
Allison couldnât stop her laugh. âStill is, I just tested it.â
âShit, thatâs goddamn⊠cute. All of these are so cute,â she said with a smile.
âArenât they?â Allison replied, snatching the paper once again with a cunning smile. âNow if youâll excuse me, I have some notes to update and some experiments to run.â
â
It seemed like whenever she saw Klaus, he was always talking to some ghost. Usually arguing with them. Sometimes flirting, you never know. The conversation that Allison walked in on today, however, was definitely not flirting.
âJust shut up, you donât have a goddamn clue⊠Thatâs what I said, you never fucking listen to - Allison!â
She paused in the doorframe, amused. âAm I interrupting?â
âWhat, this?â Klaus gestured vaguely at the armchair across from him. âNah, nothing important. Just bonding, you know how it is.â He seemed to disconnect from Allison for a second, listening, and then shot a glare at the armchair. âDickwad.â
Allison clapped her hand over her mouth at the insult, but not quickly enough to stop the laugh that escaped. Whoever it was, they had pissed Klaus off. âOkay, well, I was just going through some of my old stuff, and I foundâŠâ She pulled out the wrinkled piece of paper. âThis.â
Klausâ eyebrows furrowed. âOkay⊠What is that?â
âA chart I made when we were young, to win those fights we used to have.â
âWhat fights?â Before Allison could answer, her brotherâs gaze flicked to the armchair and back to her. âThe tickle fights? You made a⊠what did you say, a chart?â
She nodded. âItâs detailed.â
Klaus laughed. âSo organized! Let me see -â He reached up, but she snatched it out of his grasp.Â
âNope, this is valuable information. But, I could let you see⊠if you participate in the experiment Iâm running.â
Rolling green eyes, Klaus scoffed and lifted his arms up, a playful smile on his face as he looked away. He clearly already knew exactly what these so-called experiments were; perhaps Vanyaâs laughter from downstairs was a giveaway.Â
A smile played on Allisonâs lips. She remembered how Klaus never really hated tickles, and acknowledged the note by his name: asks to be tickled all the time, listed alongside others such as SUPER ticklish armpits, tapped his hips once and he squeaked? maybe heâs ticklish there too? Havenât tried yet. She laughed, launching her tickling fingers towards Klausâ armpits, only to be stopped by him slamming his arms down at the last second.
âSorry, sorry. Instinct,â he smiled, already giggling a bit, before lifting his arms again.
All of a sudden, his elbows shot down towards his hips as he choked on his laughter, âB-Ben! No!â Klaus collapsed to the floor within seconds, kicking his legs and screeching.
Allison smiled. Of course, only Ben could rile her brother up like that. Squinting, she smirked, noticing the placement of Klausâ slapping hands, âKlaus? Benâs not getting your hips, is he?âÂ
The silly noises he'd been making between silent laughter was accompanied by a desperate nod, messing up his long hair.
âGood!â Allison exclaimed, a bubbly tone to her voice, before lowering herself to the floor next to her flailing brother. âWhat a long overdue discovery.â Her pinch to his left hip felt more real than Benâs spidery ghost tickles, and he squeaked. Her hands moved quickly, though, to lodge themselves under his arms while he was distracted.
The yelp that left Klausâ mouth was loud enough to make Allison flinch slightly, but her hands stayed put. âAllison,â he whined, squeezing his arms to his sides as he simultaneously tried to roll away from Benâs way-too-tangible thumbs digging into his hip bones.
She raised her eyebrows curiously as she twitched her fingers ever so slightly, relishing in the squirms and adorable gasps that followed.Â
When Allison began to wiggle all ten of her fingers, plus the other ten digits, both on his worst spots, his eyes squeezed shut as his squeaks and laughs rose yet another octave. Curling in on himself, he shook his head, unable to shake either of his ruthless tickle-monster siblings.
âTickie, tickie, tickle!â Allison cooed as she laughed along with him.
âWhat's wrong, Klausie? I thought you loved tickie, tickie, tickles.â Benâs words were snide and Klaus could practically hear his stupid grin.
High-pitched giggles rolled out of his mouth as he grabbed onto a nearby throw pillow. âStopstopstop, okay! Okay, jeez!â It was obvious that he wasn't that desperate for the tickles to stop; he really just needed a breather. Klaus threw the pillow in an attempt to hit Ben, but it just phased through him. Ben stuck his tongue out.Â
âAsshole,â Klaus grumbled at his invisible brother. Allison laughed again, before leaning over to whisper something into Klausâ ear. A noticeable smile washed over his face as he looked directly at his ghost brother, crawling towards him.
Ben's eyes widened as he stumbled backwards, falling back onto the armchair. His arms flailed, not knowing how to defend himself since it had been such a long time. âNonono, Klaus, what did she tell you? â EEP!â His reaction to Klausâ quick and repetitive pokes to his stomach was immediate.Â
The notes on the chart read really squeaky, ribs and stomach (but be careful!!!), starts begging after mere seconds, & very gullible, so easy to tickle. Ben had always been super easy to trick into getting tickled when they were younger; asking him to reach things in high up cabinets, challenging him to keep his arms up, and tons of tickle hugs.
He hadnât been tickled since before he died, but it was just as unbearable as he remembered. He couldnât hold back a squeak as Klaus prodded around the soft area just below his ribs, throwing an arm over his face to hide his blush.Â
Klaus threw his head back and laughed. âAwww, I forgot that you were so sensitive, Benny! Guess now we know whatâll happen when you make fun of me, hmm?â
Ben wanted more than anything to snap back at his brother, but couldnât possibly reply around his high-pitched giggle fit, so he settled on a squeal. âAllison! H-help!â
âShe canât hear you,â Klaus cooed, racing his fingertips up Benâs ribs to elicit another adorable squeak, clearly amused.Â
Allison laughed at the image of her brother kneeling on the floor, ruthlessly attacking absolutely nothing. âNo, but I can picture it. Remember those physical exams that Grace would give us?âÂ
Every month, in order to keep them all in tip-top shape for missions, Grace would perform physical examinations. These exams, of course, included lots of pressing and prodding tummies with her cold robot hands, much to Diego and Benâs dismay. Diego would often need to have a break after ten seconds, but Ben would always just giggle his little heart out, and could never sit still, try as he might.
Klaus giggled too. âOf course, dear little Benjamin could never stand those. Could you, Benerino?â Their brother merely cackled in response, batting helplessly at the tickling fingers. God, if this didnât end soon, he was going to die again. Could ghosts die again?
âI⊠neeheed AIR, you asshole!â
âNo you donât,â Klaus replied simply, pinching at the skin right above his belly button. Ben shrieked, flailed, and ended up rolling off the armchair onto the ground. Klaus took it as a cue to stop and sat back, grinning at his work.
âWhatâs he look like?â Allison asked, not even trying to hide her sadistic smile.
Klaus grinned at the rumpled pile of ghost on the floor, who flipped him off. âLike shit.â
âFuck off,â Ben replied, but he was smiling. Mission accomplished.
â
Diego frequently sat in his room alone, doing God knows what. The minute that Allison walked in, he was just twirling one of his knives in his hand. Turning around to look at his sister, who had been smiling at a piece of paper, his brows furrowed, âWhat?âÂ
Allison couldnât help but chuckle to herself as she read the notes beside her stoic brotherâs name: ticklish EVERYWHERE, pokes make him squirm, sometimes cries at tummy tickles, GET HIS BELLYBUTTON, & make sure heâs not holding anything. She remembered fondly how her and her brothers would always gang up on him and tickle him until he cried. Grace always had to step in to get them to stop. She cleared her throat, and looked over at him, turning the paper around to face him, âRemember this?âÂ
âOh, ... yeah, from those - those fights we had when we were kids. Yeah.â Diego placed his knife down on the desk, and moved to stand up, subtly trying to escape what he feared was about to happen.Â
âHm, what kind of fights were those?â
âYou - yâknow. The -⊠the wrestling and stuff.â He silently cursed his sister for trying to make him say it; she knew that he absolutely hated the word, both hearing it and saying it⊠and experiencing it. Diego pretended to nonchalantly pace away in order to exit the room, only to make his way into the corner farthest from the door, where Allison was inconveniently standing.Â
âI heard a rumor⊠that you canât move until I start tickling you.â Allison sped up the last part of her rumor, making it so he couldnât cover his ears as he typically used to. Walking over to him, she grinned and wiggled her fingers in the air, eyeing his torso.
A grunt left Diegoâs already reluctantly smiling mouth as he attempted to tug on his legs in order to move, âDammit! Screw you, Allison! - ACK!â His eyes squeezed shut, embarrassed at the slight giggle that heâd let out without her even touching him yet.Â
âWhat is it, Diego? Surely, you've grown out of letting a few tickly fingers take you down?â Allison teased, poking his tummy with her two index fingers.
A snort escaped his mouth in an attempt to stifle the giggle fit that was bound to start as he doubled over. He tried to use his regained mobility to make a break for it, but it was too late. The momentum from the force he'd been using in his attempts to get away pushed him to the floor. He was absolutely cornered.
âNonono â I-I, yes, I have grown out of it!â The way his arms were wrapped around his torso and the quick pace of his words, however, told a different story. âIâm seri - NO,â he yelped before dissolving into a squirmy puddle of silent giggles. Allisonâs digits were swiftly poking and scratching at any spot they could reach.
âYouâre what? Cereal? Serene? Canât be serious; youâre giggling too much for that, silly.â Ever since they were children, Diego always seemed to bring out Allisonâs most brutal teases. âIt seems to me that you still might be the most ticklish one in this house, Diego! Tell me, how does it feel to have such a title?â Sheâd been able to latch her hands onto the sides of his stomach before wiggling her fingers into them.Â
His laughter rose in volume when he opened his mouth to speak, âI-It tickles! - Shit, shit,â he squealed over Allisonâs coos, âSh-sh-shut up!â Saying the word, along with his embarrassingly childish reactions to such simple touches, was enough to redden his face. A squawk left his mouth when he felt a clawed hand digging into his lower tummy, dangerously close to his bellybutton.Â
Allison stopped for a second, glancing down at both of Diegoâs hands clutching onto her single hand on his stomach, and back up at her uncontrollably giggling brother. The grin on her face was the only thing that preceded her free hand flying straight towards his unguarded navel.Â
Diego weakly pushed at her hands as he kicked his legs and screamed. His cackles now echoed through the whole house. Both of her hands were squaring in on his stomach and fuck, he couldnât take it. âAllison - fuck! Iâm gonna die, Iâm gonna die, oh my God, stop,â Diego rambled quickly between gasps of laughter, tears forming in the corners of his eyes, much to his own chagrin, and Allisonâs amusement.
He was just so fun to tickle. He always had been. Of course, Allison knew he wasnât going to die; he was just over dramatic sometimes. âWhatâs the magic word?â
âF-Fuck off,â he growled.
Allison mimicked a buzzer noise as she continued to tickle and poke around Diegoâs hypersensitive midriff, even adding a few pokes to his thigh, and pinches to his triceps, âWrong.â She laughed at the rather adorable image of her brother, curled up in the corner of his room, hands flailing in an attempt to get the tickles to stop, and twitching away from every little touch. He really was ticklish just about everywhere.Â
âI've gotta tell Lila about this,â Allison chuckled, making a mental note. âImagine her finding out that you're ticklish on your shoulders. And your chest? She's gonna have a field day, I know it.â
A squeal, âNoho, okay, okay, please! Pleasepleaseplease, fuck,â he rolled over, yelling when the tickles didnât stop, âFucking please, Allison! Pleehease.â
âAll right, you big baby!â She decided to finally let up, chuckling at the residual giggles that escaped Diegoâs mouth.Â
He clutched his stomach, wheezing. âChrist, I fucking⊠forgot what that felt like.â A warning look was shot towards his sister, âDon't you dare tell her.â
Allison grinned, poking him again and brightening when she was rewarded with a yelp. âI think we all did, andâŠâ a quick spider over his tummy got him to curl up again, âI think I just might.â
â
Allison clutched the chart firmly in her fist, making her way up the many flights of stairs. Last but not least. She glanced at the notes by the scrawled out âNumber Five:â says he's not ticklish but we know he is, flinches when anyone touches his knees (especially the left one), and hiccups a lot after laughing really hard.
Bursting into his room, Allison, expecting him to be doing⊠well, whatever old man stuff he liked to do, was surprised to find her brother fast asleep in his bed. After all heâd been through, experiencing the apocalypse twice & back to back, he certainly deserved a nap or twelve.Â
One thing that all of the siblings agreed on, though silently, was that Five was utterly adorable when he was asleep, and not snapping at anyone. Surely, just a smidge less adorable than whenâŠÂ
A poke to the blanketed figure made his snoring breaths hitch, and then they continued as normal.
Heâd napped long enough, Allison thought to herself, not knowing if heâd been sleeping for two minutes or two hours. Nothing could beat her infinite curiosity, though, about just where dear old Fivey was ticklish. It had been far too long, and she knew he was at least a little bad on his knees but there was no way that could be all. That little body definitely held tons of bottled up laughter over the years that just had to be let out.
Of course his right leg was sticking out of the mass of comforter and sheets. Of course it was.Â
Allison quickly spidered her fingers right above the hem of his grey knee socks, that he even wore to bed, apparently.Â
A sudden jerking motion under the covers followed as he stopped snoring.
âFiiive,â Allison crooned in a somewhat warning tone. No answer. She pinched the sides of his knee, only to be awarded with a twitch and a âcoughâ that was far too loud to pass off as a cough.Â
âFuck off, Allison,â Fiveâs sleepy voice, muffled by the pillow, piped up.
âOkay, rude,â she replied, going in for the kill, skittering all five of her nails over his knee cap.
He internally cursed at the choking sound that escaped his throat, as he pulled his leg under the covers, in order to provide some defense. The blanket reshaped itself as he curled up, and Allison thought she heard a grumpy sigh through the fabric.
âYâknow, you mightâve spent almost 50 years without other people, but I wouldâve thought that youâd remember at least some of your manners.â Another sigh. âNo apology? Fine then.â
Allison sat right down on Fiveâs bed, and grabbed his left ankle, pulling it out from under the covers.
Before he could teleport away, he felt unbearably light and spidery tickles along the back of his knee. A screech that he couldnât hope to suppress left his mouth, but only took seconds for the bubbly giggles, and the violent kicking, to begin.Â
Allisonâs steady hold on Fiveâs ankle turned out to be a major asset to her attack as his whole body thrashed around, tangling himself in his blanket and sheets. She couldn't help but flinch at the frantic movements and his other foot weakly pushing at her hip.
âGood to see little Five still has those tickly, tickly knees!âÂ
âAllison! Fucking,â he squeaked, unable to hold back the helpless laughter, âFuck you! Iâm gonna - ACK,â another giggle. âDammit! Iâll fucking kill you!â
The giggles laced with threatening screams were delightfully familiar. âSure you will, Giggles,â she teased, prodding and squeezing around his entire knee, adding some occasional rib tickles into the mix to make him twitch.Â
Fiveâs hands flickered blue, but there was no way he could teleport with how unfocused he was. He felt like he was going crazy. It had been ages since he'd laughed so freely, let alone been tickled; certainly since before he left. The sensation, so completely disarming while also frustratingly familiar, overwhelmed him.
âFuck you, I swear - shit! Oh my fucking g- Allison!â
âYes?â She stuck her tongue out in concentration, digging into the spot just above his kneecap that made him scream.Â
Five was in hell. His hands were still glowing, but never enough to do anything goddamn useful. He could feel his leg twitching, trying to kick, but Allison was merciless, and she had a lot more practice tickling his thirteen-year-old body than he had fighting off her adult reflexes. The giggles pouring out of his mouth were starting to grow hoarse, though, and he was pretty sure that if this kept up much longer, heâd actually go crazy.
âF-fine!â
âWhat was that?â
âI said - â The tickling stopped, but his eyes locked on where Allisonâs lethal nails were still hovering over his ribs. Flushed, he choked back a giggle. âI said fine, you fucking - â
âFine what?â Allison aimed a poke at the space between two ribs and he jerked.
âFine, Iâm sorry!â The hands withdrew, and Five curled into himself, breathing heavily through the last remaining chuckles. Allison blew on two fingertips like a gun, and dodged the smack that Five sent her way.Â
âFuck off. Hic.â
Allisonâs eyes lit up. âThere they are!â
âHuh? What are you - hic - talking about?â Five grumbled, pulling his knees into his chest and sucking in a big breath to try to stop the hiccups.
She grinned, pulling out the chart, and resisting the urge to reach out and poke his puffed cheeks. âI took notes.â
Fiveâs eyes widened, and he let out his breath, looking vaguely⊠impressed. âHoly shit. Youâre thorough.â His eyes scanned over her scribbled words. âDiego? Really?â
Allison chuckled. âReally. Iâm surprised you forgot, heâs the worst of all of us. Even worse than you.â
Fiveâs nose wrinkled, and he let out a childish snort. âServes him right.â
âOh, shut up, you ticklish little son of a bitch.â Diego muttered from the doorway... alongside Klaus, Vanya, and Luther.
Five spun and internally cursed at himself at the blush growing on his face, wondering how long the rest of his siblings had been there watching him get absolutely wrecked.
âI know you are but what am I,â he snapped back at his bigger but younger brother, whoâd lunged towards him, ready for a battle.
Diego was blocked by Allison though, and he stopped, knowing not to cross her while she was in the terrifying mood sheâd been in all day.
âGuys, enough. Canât we have just one fun day without you at each otherâs throats?â
âYâknow what, Allison, I know I didnât get a very close look butâŠâ Klaus clicked his tongue as his strong brows furrowed, âI donât think I saw your name on that little chart.â He made his way over to his other siblings with an unmistakable glint in his eye and grabbed the chart from his sisterâs hand.Â
Allison always did have the upper hand in all their tickle fights, and now they all knew why.
âW-well, thatâs because I made it.â The look that her family exchanged did not go unnoticed, and she stepped backwards, ending up stumbling onto Fiveâs bed. âHey, hey guys, wait - â
The chart was updated that day; Vanyaâs handwriting scrawled next to Allisonâs name, alongside cackly laughter, super ticklish neck and armpits!!!, accidentally kicked Luther in the head, & best sister ever.
Summary: In the process of rediscovering her powers, Allison gets a tad carried away. Thankfully, her siblings are there to keep her in check.
Okay this is so self-indulgent but Iâve been wanting to write a fic about Allisonâs powers for forever and I never got around to it. Donât think too hard about the timeline on this one, I was going to end it with the dinner and then I realized I didnât want to. Also, Lila is here because I love her.Â
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 AHEAD!!
Allison could confidently say she was the most patient of the Hargreeves siblings. With the boys, there was no contestâthey were all volatile loose cannons with something to proveâand even Ben had fallen prey to the excess testosterone. Years of following Klaus around had brought back out Benâs snarky side, which he had all-but-smothered in his younger years. A wise person would argue Vanya was patient, and their argument would have merit, but Vanya wasnât so much patient as she was used to being forcibly subdued. She was kind and sweet, but she would never wait for anything again. She simply acted now. Allison could appreciate the sentiment, but that wasnât how she operatedâno matter how badly she wanted to.Â
She was always the moderatorâthe only one who could reign in six other unruly supers without losing a limb. So, when Reginald invited the seven of them to dinner, she had to call upon every ounce of her patience to keep from strangling one or all of them.Â
âI still say we kill him.â Diego stabbed a mango in the fruit bowl and pulled it towards himself. He started carefully peeling the skin, leaving the shavings in a little pile next to his plate.Â
âThat solves nothing.â Allison sighed.
âIt saves the president. Iâd call that solving something.â Diego didnât look up at her, but the aggressive way he sliced a huge chunk of skin off of the mango almost felt personal.Â
âI agree with Diego. I think itâd be fun.â Lila pulled Diegoâs arm towards her so she could take a bite of the mango. He glared at her and she tweaked his nose, taking another large bite just to piss him off.Â
âSee?â Diego gestured at Lila.
âNo one is killing Dad. Letâs hear what he has to say, then we can figure out a plan.â Allison folded her hands on the table, relieved when everyone else seemed to be in agreement. Klaus handed her a tiki cup and she took a grateful sip. Itâd been a while since sheâd had a good piña colada.
âWhy? This whole thing could be over so quickly!âÂ
âYes, it could, but it wonât be.â She gave him one of her patented fake smiles, taking a pointed sip of her colada.Â
âWhy? Because youâre in charge? Because youâve got this under control?â Diego scoffed. He offered Lila a piece of his mango before she could steal another bite.Â
âOh boy, here we go.â Luther muttered.
âDo you want a drink? No? Well, I do. Iâm gonna go get a drink.â Klaus stood and stumbled over to the bar, taking his second margarita of the night with him.Â
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â She crossed her arms.
âWhat authority do you really have, Allison?â
âI would say her powers are a pretty good authority. Plus, Allisonâs a good leader.â Vanya piped up, smiling softly at her. Allison gave her hand a quick squeeze.
âTeam Zero has no leaders. Thatâs the whole point.âÂ
âKinda hard to be Team Zero when you still want to be number one.â Five took an apple from the fruit bowl and took an innocent bite. Diego pushed his chair out, knife in hand, twirling it between his fingers.
âDiego, sit down! Now.â Allison didnât stand. She wouldnât sink to his level. Or, rise, rather.
âMake me.â Diego fixed Allison with a withering stare, but it paled in comparison to the one she gave him. In fact, she relished in the way he shivered when he met her eyes. Good. He should remember his place.
âDiego-â Luther tried, but one glare shut him down.
âShut up. Allison, you want me to sit and behave? Make me.â
âCome on. Donât do this,â Vanya whispered, trying to grab Diegoâs knife hand. He simply flicked the knife behind his back and into his other hand. For a moment, it looked like Vanyaâs pleading eyes would work, but Five chuckled and sealed the deal.
âDinner and a show! Predictable as always.â Five folded his hands beneath his chin and stole a generous sip of Vanyaâs cocktail.
âShut up, twerp!â Diego pointed at him with the knife.
âOr else what? Youâll stab me?â Five was grinning now, goading Diego on purpose.Â
âFive!â Allison growled, and he rolled his eyes, falling quiet. At least he knew not to test her.
âKeep talking. Letâs find out.â Diego flipped the knife once, then twice, and each time it stayed in the air just a little too long.Â
âIâve got ten bucks on Diego,â Lila said, kicking her feet up on the table. She took the liberty of finishing his mango for him, peeling away little bits of skin with her messy nails.
âGuys, stop it!â Vanya latched onto Diegoâs arm, trying to force him down into his seat. He pulled away and she ended up jabbing his side. He flinched and glared at her, but did not budge. Allisonâs lips quirked into a momentary smile.
âAllison,â Vanya said quietly, gesturing at the brewing fight. Allison rolled her eyes and threw up her hands.Â
âOkay! Just remember you asked for this!â Allison smirked, and the room suddenly felt a bit colder. She could feel everyoneâs attention on her, but she had Diegoâs eyes, and that was all she needed.
âI heard a rumor that you started tickling yourself.â Allisonâs voice echoed through the room, the sound waves capturing her brother. Just before his eyes turned white, she could see the look of minute panic, that look of âoh shitâ that he always made before being put in his place. Allison smiled, curled her tongue against her teeth, and dropped the winning blow.
âCoochie coo, Diego.â She couldnât help the giggle that bubbled out on the end of her sentence. Diegoâs hands raised towards his body as if they didnât belong to him, fingers wiggling in that way that had always ruined him as a kidâslow, methodical, and teasing. Both hands dug into his sides, just below his ribs, and he yelped, quickly consumed by his own high-pitched laughter. The sight was strangeâ90% of Diego was squirming up a storm trying to escape himself, but his arms and hands kept him pinned exactly where Allison wanted him.
âHow does that work?â Lila laughed, unable to hide her snickers when Diego squealed. She fluttered her fingers over his neck and was delighted to find that he couldnât fight backâwhat with his hands being so busy, and all.
âHer power shuts off the sense of self-awareness in the brain, I think. You canât tickle yourself normally because the laughter is a panic response. Your brain knows itâs you, so you canât make yourself laugh, unless youâre ridiculously ticklish, or something. Allisonâs power is making Diegoâs brain think his hands arenât his, even though he knows they are. Itâs really interesting, actually.â Vanya beamed, unable to resist poking him in the ribs a few times. He threw his head back in his chair and somehow found it in himself to giggle louder when his rumored hands found a home underneath his arms, drawing unbearable shapes and driving him up the wall. Everyone, excluding Diego, turned to stare at Vanya.
âWhat? I like science.â She shrugged.
âIt is...creative, Iâll say.â Five crossed his arms, then uncrossed them, as if he didnât trust his own hands.
âYeah, I havenât heard him laugh like that since we were kids. He still sounds like a kettle.â Klaus chuckled.
âShut up, Klaus!â Diego squeaked out, tossing his head side to side. He puffed his cheeks out, trying to rein in his laughter, but it only lasted until his left hand hit that spot just above his top rib that made him fully cackle.
âAww, this is cute.â Lila ruffled his hair, knowing full well she wouldnât have gotten away with it had Diego not been testing the range of his vocal chords. Lila shot Allison a look she couldnât quite readâsomething akin to a thoughtful expression, as if she was taking a mental noteâand smiled.Â
âDiego? I think your legs could use some attention.â Allison watched with delight as Diegoâs hands dove for his thighs. One hand started squeezing while the other wiggled up and down, and the rate at which he plummeted into desperate belly laughter was almost alarming. He twisted off of the chair and onto the floor, eyes screwed shut.
âAllison, stohop!â Diego squealed, absolutely hysterical. Jesus Christ, no one had ever been this ruthless with him before. Her powers were hitting spots he didnât even know he had, and each fresh discovery sent him into a wave of overwhelming, giggly panic. Every time he tried to take command of his hands, something blocked him, like the wires in his brain werenât quite connected.Â
âNope! Not until you apologize for being an asshole. And agree to be nice.âÂ
âI canâtânoho!â He arched his back and drummed his heels on the floor. Watching his own hands wreak havoc on his worst spot set off all kinds of butterflies in his stomach. His hands kept digging in infuriating patterns, completely overwhelming his nervous system with tickly sparks.Â
âSure you can! Itâs very easy.â Allison winked at him and he growled, but it dissolved very quickly into giggles.
âYouâre all a bunch of children,â Five sighed.
âFive, why donât you join him?â Allison asked sweetly, stirring her drink with the straw. Fiveâs look of confusion melted into a brief flicker of white eyes, and soon his cackles mingled with Diegoâs rich laughter. He hit the floor much quicker than his brother, but that mightâve had something to do with his borrowed hands flying straight for his knees. Five squealed and kicked his legs, rolling around on the ground as he tried and failed to escape.
Watching Five and Diego writhe, so tangled in their laughter that they couldnât threaten her if they wanted to, her heart skipped a few beats. Sure, the power was going to her head a bit, but itâs not like her brothers didnât have it coming. She was doing a public service. Speaking of public service, Diego was starting to turn an interesting color.
âIf I let you go, are you going to be nice tonight? I will embarrass you in front of dad, I donât even care.â
âY-Yes! Lemme goho!âÂ
âFine.â She waved a hand and Diego went limp. He lifted his hands to his face to muffle the last few giggles trickling from his lips. With some difficulty, he pulled himself to his feet, stumbling back into his chair with an arm wrapped around his torso. Sparing Diego brought a softness in Allison, and she smiled at Five.
âYou can let your knees go. I always liked your giggles more anyway.â He disappeared in a flash of blue and reappeared behind her, arms outstretched and ready to strangle, but Allison sighed. He was so...predictable. A creature of unfortunate habit.
âI heard a rumor that you tickled your ribs silly.âÂ
âNoho!â He hit the ground in seconds, tripping over his own feet as he went.Â
âReally?â She turned and arched a brow at him.Â
âI hate yohou!â
âYouâre lucky I didnât mention your hands.â She scoffed, then flinched when Five shrieked. One of his hands started going to town on the other, scratching so gently that Allison almost couldnât believe how loud he was. He squirmed so violently that she was sure heâdâve punched her if sheâd been close enough.
âOopsie.â She grimaced, biting her lip.Â
âAllison, hey.â Vanya smiled, obviously amused, but tilted her head towards the elevator. The up arrow was glowing red and, yeah, it was probably, regrettably, time to stop.Â
âYou can stop, Five,â She murmured, and he wheezed, scrubbing his palms against his jacket to erase sensation. The feeling of the fibers sliding against his palms sent him into another flurry of giggles as he clenched his fists.
Some cruel, playful itch at the back of Allisonâs mind had been thoroughly scratchedâso much so that when Diego still took a jab at her for not using her powers, she made him punch himself instead of embarrassing him.
She liked using her powers. The force with which they held her was sometimes scary, but for harmless instances like this? It was what she had been missing growing up. Everyone else got to mess around with their powers, but she was never really allowed to. Being the responsible and patient one meant being the buzzkill in her siblingsâ eyes, and buzzkills didnât often get roped into the intense, multi-floor, super-tickle-fights that had dominated what few happy memories that the Hargreeves had as children.
She started slow with reintroducing her powers, not wanting to overwhelm or scare anyone. She was still trying to get past the look on Patrickâs face when heâd caught her rumouring Claire. Allison knew her siblings would never look at her like thatâin fact, they were the only people who ever wanted her to use her powers. She started with simple things: convincing Five to get some rest after refusing to sleep, ending an argument between Luther and Diego that was quickly spiraling out of controlâeven on Klaus, who would not stop fighting with Ben during the night. That last one wasnât truly necessary, but the walls were thin and their rooms shared an unfortunate border.
âWhat color are you thinking?â Klaus dumped his armful of nail polish bottles onto her bed, just barely catching a few before they clattered to the floor.Â
âYellow?â She gingerly picked one from the pile.Â
âI love it.â He beamed and took a seat in front of her, unscrewing the cap. The brightness and warmth of the polish made her smile. It was the color of her favorite dress from the decade theyâd left behindâthe dress that Raymond had always loved. Klaus took her foot and laid it on his leg, sticking his tongue out to concentrate.
Someone softly cleared their throat and the two of them looked up to see Vanya hovering in the doorway. Allison smiled and waved her in, and she plopped on the ground next to Klaus. Vanya leaned over to watch Klaus work.
âYou like the color?â Allison asked. Things between them were still fragile.Â
âItâs lovely. Sissyâs favorite, actually.â Vanya smiled softly, fiddling with her shirt sleeves a bit, and Allison knew things were okay, for the time being.Â
Three pairs of stomping footsteps echoed down the hall and Allison looked up, catching her brothers lingering in the doorway, though seemingly not on purpose. Luther and Five had cornered a brooding Diego who looked like he was a few seconds away from impaling one or both of them.Â
âDiego, quit being such a grouch.â Luther shoved his shoulder lightly.
âDonât tell me what to do.â Diego grumbled, arms crossed.
Câmon man, itâs been days. No one likes when you sulk around. Just lighten up a little.â
âDonât tell me what to do.â Diego held a knife up to Lutherâs throat.
âFive, a little help here?â
âOh, I donât care.â Five stuck his hands in his pockets and smiled.
âDiego. Dude.â Luther shook Diegoâs shoulder again and he growled, grabbing Lutherâs meaty hand and wrenching it backwards.
âI heard a rumor that Luther and Five tickled you until you admit defeat,â Allison piped up, giggling at the look of absolute betrayal on Diegoâs face. Five cackled of his own volition, happy as a clam to have a reason to torment his brother.
âAllison, no!â He bolted, Five and Luther hot on his heels.
âHave fun!â She called after them.
âThat was mean.â Klaus chided, wiggling his fingers over her sole. She squeaked and tried to pull away, but his grip was tight on her ankle.
âKlaus! Iâm gonna mess up the polish!â She whined around a giggle, hiding her face in her hands.
âNo you wonât. Just stay still.â Klaus chuckled, continuing to apply the polish with one hand. With the other, he kept scratching gentlyÂ
âYeah, Allison, just stay still.â Vanya took hold of Allisonâs ankle and fluttered along her arch, taking note of which spots made her curl in on herself and paying them extra attention.Â
It was then that Allison decided they were no longer exempt from her wrath. Everyone was fair game now. Though, maybe she could show them a little mercy, since they definitely could be a lot meaner.
They only stopped once they made her squealâKlaus scratched his nail repeatedly over her big toe until she nearly fell on the floorâand even after, they wouldn't stop teasing her about the noise sheâd made. She filed away her large-scale revenge plan and settled for tickling them both once Klaus had finished her nails.Â
There was a lesson in quitting while youâre ahead, but, pinned to the couch and screaming, Allison was starting to think it had gone over her head.
It had started with Lila throwing a movie nightâher way of apologizing for, well, everything without having to say the words. Lila had set up a sort of nest situation with pillows and blankets, allowing the siblings to choose their seats freely. Allison and Vanya snuggled on one end of the couch while Luther claimed the other, and the rest of them piled on one another in front of the couch. Lila laid with her head in Diegoâs lap, and Klaus and Five were cozy next to them. They hadnât existed this way in years. It wouldâve been nice, had the tension not been so thick.
All of them were almost afraid to relax, as if theyâd all simultaneously remembered how long itâd been since theyâd properly been together as a family. Five looked like he would explode if anyone touched him, Diego was far too occupied with his box of Thin Mints, and Klausâs knee was shaking far too much not to be distracting to everyone present.Â
A smile tugged at her lips. If any situation called for an intervention, it was this one. Possibly even more than her previous abuses of power.Â
âThey need to lighten up, donât you think?â Allison murmured, stealing a pretzel from the bag Vanya was holding.
âThey are a bit..tense.â Vanya chuckled. Allison took the pretzels and set them safely aside before gesturing for her to lean close.
âI heard a rumor that you started messing with Klaus,â Allison whispered, munching on another pretzel. Vanya fixed her with a âreally?â face and she shrugged in apology. Vanya started nudging Klaus with her foot, waiting just long enough between gentle shoves that it was annoying. After about the eighth time, Klaus whirled around and grabbed Vanyaâs ankle, skittering his fingers up her leg.
âVanya!â He gasped in mock offense, spidering his nails in random circles. Vanya simply slid down the couch cushion like a pile of jello, the fight already drained from her body. Allison had been hoping for a more explosive reaction, but this would do as a start. She leaned forward and put a hand on Diegoâs shoulder.Â
âI heard a rumor that you started a proper tickle fight.â She finished the command with a quick flutter at the back of his neck. Diego snatched her hand and yanked her forwards, using the change in momentum to grab her foot and go to town. She snorted and shoved at the back of his head, anything to get him to let go.
âNot with me! Nevermind, I heard a rumor you stole Fiveâs marshmallows.â She shoved him off of her and grinned when he immediately lunged for them. In that moment, Five was indistinguishable from a feral racoon as he dove for the treats. Lila managed to roll out of the way just before she was crushed.
âGive them back!â He screeched, reaching for the bag just out of his grip. Diego took advantage of his long arms and stretched as far away as possible.
âNah, I donât think so.â Diego dropped a marshmallow into his mouth, making direct eye contact as he chewed and swallowed. Five trembled with rage.
âYouâre dead.â He pounced onto Diego who yelped before dissolving into frantic giggles, arms flailing about as he tried to dislodge Five. He squirmed right into Klaus, who took hold of his legs and dug in wherever he could reach. Vanya made a game of poking Diegoâs stomach as many times as possible while dodging his hands. She could see the moment where her rumor dissolved, the four of them effortlessly carrying on the playfulness without aid.
Allison snuck a glance at Luther. He was still crushed into his corner of the couch, looking unbelievably uncomfortable but at least amused at the struggle going on beneath him. He deserved to smile as much as them.
âI heard a rumor-â
âThat you were wildly ticklish, all over,â Lila said from behind her, and holy shit, when did she get there? Lila poked her side and a bright giggle bubbled out from her lips before she could stop it. Dread and anticipation tangled in her stomach. Sheâd never been that sensitive there before.
Uh oh.
âLila, we can talk about this.â Allison raised her hands in surrender as Lila vaulted over the couch, straddling her before she could escape.
âThatâs the problem, Allison. Youâre still talking, not laughing.â Lila kneaded her thumbs into the sides of Allisonâs stomach and she squealed, trying her damndest to grab the offending hands.Â
This was uncharted territory for her. She was used to teasy hands grabbing her neck or for roughhousing to turn into a mad grab for her feet. She knew exactly what it would feel like every time. This was technically the same, but radically different. Her body just didnât know what to do. It was like being tickled for the first time ever, before her body knew what was going on. Every single part of her was sending up flares of tickly panic as she squirmed underneath Lila.
When someoneâKlaus, judging by the cold shock of a few ringsâgrabbed hold of her feet, it dawned on her how what sheâd put Diego through mightâve been a little mean.
âLehet goho!âÂ
âHey, Allison? I think your legs could use some attention,â Diego said in an annoying mockery of her voice, but she was far too indisposed to reprimand him for it.
âI-â She started to plead, but verbal communication flew out the window entirely when Vanya started tickling lightly under her chin and down the column of her throat. It was so gentle and clearly loving, but the contrast between Vanya and the fiends going to town on the rest of her body only doubled her desperation to get away.
Diego hooked his fingers behind Allisonâs knee and she nearly launched Lila across the room with how hard she thrashed. Her nervous system whited out for a minute as she squealed louder, doing everything she could to wrench her feet from Klausâs grasp so she could kick Diego in the face.
âNo! Stohop!â Great, she was snorting now.Â
âUh-oh! Bad spot?â Klaus drawled, scribbling over her feet. Lila wormed her fingers into the crevices of Allisonâs ribs, making sure to pinch and prod every so often, just to draw out little squeaks and hiccups. Diego found a spot on the side of her thigh where if he wiggled his fingers, Allisonâs giggles would turn wheezy, and he was having far too much fun with it.
âIhit tihickles!â
âDoes it? Are you sure?â Lila vibrated a claw into Allisonâs stomach and she threw her head back into the couch with a loud cackle. That was definitely new. Vanya giggled somewhere above her, dragging her fingers over the shells of her ears.
âYes, oh my god-â She clamped her elbows to her sides when Lila tried to sneak her hands under her arms. Her brain sent out about fifty warning signals, essentially begging her not to let this happen, and while she had no clue where the knowledge had come from, she wasnât about to question it.
âAlright, Iâm sorry!â She tried to curl around Lilaâs hands but that only made things worse.
âDamn straight.â Diego scoffed, (surprisingly) the first to let her go. After a few other quick pokes, the others released her, watching as she heaved in sweet oxygen. Every inch of her body was fizzling as she came down from her laughter. She covered her face, hiding her recovery, until two very mean hands darted into her exposed armpits. Allison bucked up hard, loud and bright laughter overcoming her as she thrashed on the couch. A few seconds felt like hours, and when Lila finally did stop, Allison wheezed before mustering the energy to glare.
âLila!â
âSorry! I just wanted to see what would happen.â She smiled, sheepish, but not at all apologetic.
âI hope I didnât ruin movie night,â Allison murmured, looking up and around at her siblings.Â
âAu contraire! I think you made movie night. Everyone, grab your snacks. I want to see this kid fuck up some robbers.â Klaus started the movie without waiting for the others, earning groans of annoyance and panicked scrambling as everyone tried to find their seats. Lila stayed on the couch, pulling Allisonâs legs across her lap, while Vanya adjusted so Allisonâs head would be more comfy. Klaus laid across Diegoâs back and Five propped his legs on top of them, popping marshmallows in his mouth like popcorn.Â
Even 58-year old time travelling asassins deserve hugs
Hereâs another fic with Ticklish!Five because Iâm in love with one (1) feral gremlin asassin boy and I want him to be happy. Anyways I hope you enjoy! Also I may not have proofread this well enough because iâm embarrassed so if you see any errors let me know lol
It was times like these when Five really missed Delores. He was drunk as shit on the couch at Elliotâs, clutching the bottle in his small hands with a miserable look on his face. He still couldnât believe that the fucking world was going to end again because of them.
Five thought about trying to find the department store before, but he found out that the building hadnât even been built yet. So his lovely Delores didnât exist in this timeline. He sighed, taking another swig of liquor with a grimace.
Elliot was sitting in a chair nearby, watching the man in a childâs body with a leery yet sympathetic look. He didnât trust him fully yet but he felt bad seeing him look so miserable. He had no idea what Five had been through so he couldnât really offer him any help.
Five was lonely, and deep down he really just wanted someone to hug him. But his pride kept him from telling his siblings that. He was a highly trained assassin, not to mention he was 58 years and 14 fucking days old and he figured that murderous old men like him didnât deserve hugs.
Somewhere in his mind he had hoped that at least one of his siblings would have been happy to see him again. Instead they all blamed him for stranding them even though he was just trying to save their lives. He remembered how Vanya and Allison had hugged, even though Vanya had amnesia and didnât even remember her. It made his heart ache. He wished that he shared the bond that the rest of them had.
Five slumped against the couch, taking in shaky breaths as he tried to steady himself. He missed his family every single day for those 45 years in the apocalypse and he spent all that time trying to get back to them. Now that he found them again they were all angry because of him. Because I failed them. He took another long sip from the bottle, feeling angry tears prick at his eyes.
âHey Five, are you okay?â Came a familiar voice.
Shit. It was Klaus. He must have snuck in while Five was lost in his thoughts.
âYeah, âm fine. Why do you even care?â Five sniffed and wiped his eyes, trying to play it off casually.
Five deflated at the concerned look Klaus gave him, and he sighed as Klaus sat next to him on the couch. He could tell that his brother could see right through him.
âWhy wouldnât I care? Tell me whatâs going on in that crazy head of yours, old man.â Klaus put a hand on his shoulder and Five tensed up.
âFirst of all, donât call me that anâ donât touch me.â Five slurred slightly, taking another large sip of alcohol. He swatted his brotherâs hand away.
âOkay, fiiiiine. You must have had a really shitty day.â
Five scoffed. âYou donât even know the half of it.â
Klaus fixed Five with a look that he couldnât quite read, and he was curious about what he was about to say.
âI might be able to help you relax, if youâll trust me.â Klaus said with a twinkle in his eyes. He couldnât help the little smirk that took over his features.
Maybe it was the alcohol, or the bubble of curiosity Five felt in his belly, or the fact that he really did miss Klaus and his antics. Whatever it was, something made him feel like he could trust Klaus to cheer him up.
âFine. Do whatever you think will help. But Iâm not responsible for your injuries.â Five put the bottle down on the floor next to the couch, crossing his arms and looking at Klaus with a pout.
âThatâs all I needed to hear!â Klaus grinned at the sight of his 58 year old brother pouting like the petulant child that he looked like. He started poking at Fiveâs sides, delighting in the startled squeaks he got.
âH-hey! What the fuck! Dohohonât do thahahat!â Five hissed, swatting at his brotherâs hands. He wasnât really surprised at that Klaus would choose such a childish method to cheer him up. Five acted like it annoyed him, but deep down he knew that he probably did need to lighten up at least a bit.
âAwww, but Five! Youâll feel better if you let yourself laugh. Iâll stop though, if you really want...â Klaus went to move away, and Five panicked.
âWait!â Five all but shouted, sounding more desperate than he meant to. He suddenly found himself blushing for the first time in years. He didnât want to ruin this playful moment with Klaus.
âI mean, itâs okay. I trust you Klaus. You can keep going.â Five sighed and smoothed back his hair, a nervous habit he picked up over the years to self-soothe.
Klaus instantly lit up, not expecting this reaction from Five. He figured that his brother would probably tell him to fuck off and blink away, but he was very intrigued to see him blush for the first time he could remember. It was a cute look on his childish face.
âOh really?â Klaus cocked his head to one side in fascination. âThis is great! Thanks, Fivey!â He grinned and clapped, letting out a giddy giggle,
âOhohoho shihihihit! Heheheheh!!â Five squeaked, falling into helpless giggles. He curled into himself, making Klaus smile at how child-like he really looked when he laughed. Meanwhile the alcohol was making Five feel weightless and warm, and he had to admit that he already felt a little happier. But he couldnât stand the delighted way his brother grinned down at him. It made Five want to die of embarrassment and strangle Klaus at the same time.
âAre my eyes and ears deceiving me or are you actually enjoying this~?â Klaus teased, suddenly snatching up one of Fiveâs hands in his own and using his other to lightly tickle Fiveâs palm. Klaus knew that it was one of his brotherâs death spots.
âSh-shuhuhuhut up! âm not- fahahack! Klaus, NOO! HAHAHAHAHAHA! PLEHEHEHEHEASE! NAHAHAHAT THEHEHERE!â Five screamed and cackled, frantically flailing and trying to pull his arm away.
Thanks to Fiveâs powers, his palms and wrists were incredibly hypersensitive. On a scale from 1 to 10 they were easily a 13, where as his knees were more of an 11. In other words, it tickled so much that Five wanted to crawl right out of his skin.
Klaus laughed, letting go of Fiveâs hand. He couldnât believe that a highly trained assassin such as Five could be rendered to begging just from the lightest touches on his hands. Klaus hoped that none of their enemies found this weakness or Five would be screwed. He snorted at the thought.
âIâll leave your hands alone for now,â Klaus teased with a soft smile. âYou feeling okay?â
âTh-thanks.â Five croaked, greedily sucking in air. He was still smiling, his dimples and blushing cheeks on full display. âIâm fine, I just..need a minute.â He closed his eyes, sighing and laying back against the couch.
âOf course, take your time.â Klaus grinned at him, ruffling Fiveâs hair. Usually Five would roll his eyes and push him away, but when he nuzzled into Klausâs hand, Klaus realized with a pang of guilt that Five must be touch starved.
But how could he not be? Spending 45 years alone in an post-apocalyptic wasteland with only a mannequin to keep you company didnât offer much room for happy, cuddly moments. But then, that wasnât all there was to it, was there?
Klaus was struck so violently by the revelation that he visibly recoiled. Nobody has hugged Five since they were kids. It made Klaus feel sick, to imagine how that must have felt. To know that after all those years apart from his siblings, not a single one of them even missed him enough to give him a hug.
And here they all were again, reunited after they all thought they would never see each other yet again. Five had saved their asses, though he may have separated them in the process and they threw it all back in his face.
âHey Five?â
âWhat?â
Five pushed himself up, resting his head on Klausâs shoulder. He felt content in his tiredness, happy to lean on somebody other than himself for once.
âCâmere.â Klaus opened welcomed arms,
doing all that he physically could to not cry.
Klaus felt so fucking shitty for never giving any thought about what Five had done for them. But he knew that he deserved it and that he needed to be there for his drunk brother. It was the least he could do.
Five lazily opened one eye, giving Klaus a funny look. âWhy?â
âCan I give you a hug?â
Five wasnât sure how to respond, as if he was taken aback by the audacity of the question.
âYou want to?â Five tried to hide the way his voice wavered as he asked. He hated feeling vulnerable like this, but his family was the only exception.
âOf course I do. Why wouldnât I?â Klaus almost couldnât believe him, but he could understand where Fiveâs wariness came from.
Five just sighed, looking so utterly sad that Klaus could hardly bear the sight of it. He put his arm around Fiveâs small shoulders, and he almost couldnât believe his ears when he heard a sniffle. Then, when Klaus felt Fiveâs breathing grow shaky he was right. Five was crying.
Klaus had maybe 5 seconds to register that before Five was clinging to him for dear life, crying like he had never heard before. Klaus did all he could do to hold Five, rubbing his back and trying to calm him down but the man in child form was a sobbing mess.
It wasnât long before Luther came in, seeing the scene unfolding in front of him.
âWhatâs going on?â He asked, looking concerned and slightly sad on seeing number Five sobbing into Klausâs chest.
âI-I donât know! All I did was ask Five if I could give him a hug and now heâs stuck to me like a sad baby koala bear...I just hope he doesnât try to bite me.â Klaus sighed dramatically, but he didnât really mind. He hoped that Five could tell.
âAh, shit.â Luther sighed, awkwardly sitting next to Klaus and Five on the couch. All three of them hoped that the couch wouldnât break, but it seemed fine despite itâs creaking. âWhat should we do?â
Klaus shrugged, but he was smiling like he had an idea.
âFive, buddy? Are you in there?â Klaus asked, giving a gentle poke to Fiveâs side.
Five twitched, still sniffling and clinging to Klaus.
âLeave mâ alone..â He croaked, sighing deeply as he tried to steady his breathing.
âAre you okay?â Both Luther and Klaus asked at the same time, wincing as they realized how theyâre both such mother hens. A trait they probably picked up from Grace, bless her circuits.
A few moments passed of Fiveâs shaky breathing and quiet sobs, until eventually he got his bearings enough to look up at Klaus. His eyes were red and puffy underneath, and his hair was a complete mess but somehow he looked a little better. Klaus was sure that the relief of crying was probably good for Five. It just pained him so much to see it.
âYeah, iâm okay.â Five finally said, covering his mouth with a hand as he yawned.
Klaus chuckled, and Luther gave Five a fond look. They were both so glad that he was alright.
âI bet youâre exhausted. You can nap on me if you want.â Klaus suggested, adjusting his position so they were both more comfortable on the couch.
Five hummed, considering the idea.
âHere,â Luther said, reaching to grab a small throw blanket. He tossed it over Klaus and Five, smiling a bit as he watched them get comfortable. It sure was a funny sight, seeing the usually grumpy number Five cuddle up to Klaus. But everyone knew that Five had been through the most out of all of them, and he deserved his rest.
