Though my thyroidectomy scar is almost invisible at this point, I'm still healing and fighting through TSH suppression. It's been a little over a year and I'm still adjusting to having to take medication every day for the rest of my life in order to have any sort of metabolism. It's been 4 weeks today since I said goodbye to my #thyroid . Getting used to remembering to take the #levothyroxine every day - the alarm on my phone helps alot. And I am getting very tired of being tired all the time. I get up to take my pill and then fall back to sleep for another 1 - 3 hours.
