Only when they are mingling upon the scrubbed-shining floors of the ballroom does Vax lean over to Vex and as, “So who is it tonight, sister dear?”

“A lady of the Ashari,” Vex murmurs back. “Last heir to one of the tribes and rather awkward. An easy target, I’m sure.”

“Then I shall leave her in your capable hands.”

“Oh,” grins Vex, “please do.”

Vex and Vax are high-society conmen. Keyleth’s a mark, traveling with a handful of companions as she completes a journey. Sounds simple, right?

tbh i'm starting to fall for the staedtlers a bit more bc some of my stabilo fineliners are a bit fragile in the tip (since they're so thin) and have snapped or morphed in the short amount of time that I've had them. it really comes down to personal preference, though - I use stabilo for my colorful fineliners and then I recently got a pack of multi-size staedtler fineliners in black.
