Seth and Richie's dynamic is so fascinating to me cause a traditional vampire dynamic is very active abuser + passive victim but that's not really the case with them. It's not a parasite/host situation where the parasite takes and the host is powerless to refuse. Instead we have an active donor and a passive receiver, despite Richie being in the "abuser" role in both their relationship and his global designation as a character, he is also the passive part. none of this is his choice, it happens to him.
