#thundercats lost

Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery are expanding the ThunderCats comic book universe with a brand new team in a brand new comic. ThunderCats: Lost hails from Ed Brisson and Rapha Lobosco.

"After being shot down in the middle of a war zone, five Thunderian warriors find themselves lost, on the run, and fighting for their lives." The world they find themselves on if highly militarized, "eschews magic in favor of hyper-advanced technology" and if "ruled with an iron fist, under a cruel dictator with an innate hatred of cats — so much so that they're hellbent on stamping out this cat invasion before it can take root." In fact, Brisson states that the villains may be familiar to Thundercats fans. Actually, a few of the characters may be familiar, but with their origins and lore tweaked as Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O are back and joined by new characters Neko and Ligon.

ThunderCats: Lost #1 goes on sale in March 2025. The debut issue sports covers by Felipe Massafera, Clayton Henry, Declan Shalvey, Mark Bagley, and Jae Lee.
