Slaughterhouse - Welcome To: Our House (2012) This is easily my favouite Slaughterhouse project. I believe there isn't another rap group that can match the consistent bar for bar lyicism that Slaughterhouse always brings to the table. This is the project that made me a SlaughterHouse fan in the first place. The Eminem production with Slaughterhouses' talent makes for an incredible listen. This album leads off with audio from a live show where you hear freestyles Happening in the background. I love how raw it sounds. Then one of my all time favourite Slaughterhouse songs comes up "Our House". The beat gets more and more complicated as each member does their verse because you're getting deeper into Their "House". It's not really a banger track but it just flows so smoothly and everyone has a great verse and Skylar Grey sounds amazing on the hook. I especially love the powerful Eminem Feature. This project just sounds way more polished and complete compared to everything else they've put out; and they have so many different types of diverse tracks on the project. They've even got some pretty upbeat songs like "My Life" and "Hammer Dance", Songs that will make you cry like "Rescue Me" and "Goodbye". Joe Budden has one of the saddest verses I've ever heard on that track; and if course bangers like "Coffin", "Get Up" and "Throw That". As far as negeatives I wish the group had a bit more chemistry with each other. Sometimes it feels like it didn't matter at all what other artists verses sounds like in the songs. It's like they were all just writing their own verses without talking with each other then just slapping them together on a beat to form a song. It would have been cool to see some of them rap off of each other's lines and trade verses back and fourth similar what BME did on "Hell: The Sequel".
