because we're learning about the Persian War in history class and just the end of that movie
it hits me right in the feels. Especially when Leonidas starts to kneel I literally hugged my pillow (because I am a lone lonely loner) and just started crying because no Leonidas, you can't like no. You are forbidden to OH NO YOUR KNEE IT TOUCHED THE GROUND NO WHAT IS HAPPENING WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT YOU SHOULDA JUST THROWN THE SPEAR AT HIM BUT OMG THEN THE GUYS WITH THE BOWS AND ARROWS WOULD HAVE SHOT YOU NO I YOU MUST HAVE SOME PLAN PLANNED OUT LIKE NO LEONIDAS. THIS IS SPARTA, LEONIDAS, THIS IS SPARTA.
And then he has that little flashback and he knew he was going to die and i started crying some more and then he screams to his little bubble of men and they unleash their power on Xerxes and Leonidas throws his spear and it's all narrated by his buddy that's missing an eye and he throws it and freaking Xerxes bleeds red you no god you prick, Xerxes.
And then oh man and then it flashes to his friend giving his wife the necklace and then no then the floodgates opened again and i just couldn't
and then his son, HIS SON KNOWS, he goes to his mother and she just hugs him and gives him the necklace and so much is represented in those scenes and they don't even talk like I don't even remember if there's music and just i started crying again
and then it shows Leonidas and his friend and his friend goes "It has been an honor to die beside you" and AND LEONIDAS GOES "It has been an honor to live beside you, friend" AND I JUST I COULDN'T AND CRIED SOMEMOREAND THEN JUST he stands up and faces the pass drenched with bowmen and starts thinking "My queen. . . My wife. . . my love."and JUST I COULDN'T BECAUSE THEY'RE LIKE OTP MATERIAL AND ALL SHE WANTED TO DO WAS HELP HIM AND SHE EVEN KILLED THAT SICK EXCUSE FOR A GUY THAT RAPED HER AND JUST YOU GO GIRL I LITERALLY SCREAMED THAT WHEN SHE KILLS HIM AND THEN YEAH.
And I cried and i have a headache now and I just i want a hug from a certain someone and i can't have one and just i need a hug
