Y e s. Feofan is doing his utmost best to get Zandik back - that is his Business PartnerTM and Doctor thank you very much. (Maybe have Zandik question Thrain!MC about “the Banker from his memories” when it’s only Pantalone keeping an eye on the window-portal. So Pantalone finds out both have at least some memories.) And this Zandik won’t die from splitting his soul or burning Irminsul or whatever hare-schemed plan he had!

I adore Zandik jumpscaring Thrain!MC. I assume that Thrain!MC (once he calms down from the scare), just shrugs and implements measures from his life as Capitano!MC to keep Zandik at least a little in check. (Dottore Safety Measures! …Whenever Zandik gets a bit too manic, Thrain!MC sighs and picks him up - air jail, food, and then an enforced nap. 😆) (Pantalone is jealous of Thrain!MC at first before realising he’s basically parenting Zandik and bribing him with stories of Feofan.)

Venti is definitely happy about Rosalyn and Rostam finding happiness, even if it is outside of Teyvat. Andrius is happy for his pups as well when he is told.

Ronova. Ronova, stay away from them. They’re no longer your problem. Leave them be. Even if tehy are “supposed to be in Teyvat”, are you trying to piss off the one person who could fight archons AND you to a standstill, a heretic who almost overthrew Teyvat’s Order and who was only defeated because Irminsul burned, and a witch who went on a 500ish year long rampage because her lover was killed?!

Reunite the doomed old men yaoi!!!!

But no, seriously, Pantalone might try to pull a Dottore and HE will somehow be the one to drag all 4 of the reincarnated Teyvatian souls back to Teyvat. If not him, Ronova. She would do it cause she's petty and needs to make things 'right' and 'balanced' again.

Sides that, I wheezed at the part of Thrain!MC putting Dottore in Air Jail. Oh god, Pantalone must've laughed himself silly at that sight.

...Another thing, via a friend who is reading this ask over my shoulder. Imagine, just imagine... Rosalyn is a mama to be, and if she gets yoinked back to Teyvat with others you can imagine the pure chaos this will cause. Especially if all of them wake up wherever their bodies laid.

Examples being Thrain!MC in Natlan, Dottore in Sumeru, Rostam in Mondstadt, and Rosalyn in Sneznhaya... which is a good thing at least Rosalyn will be near help, but I can already picture Rostam trying to claw his way to the Nation of Cryo the moment he finds out where she is.

Is this a MC → Thrain → “MC” situation? Does Genshin exist in his new incarnation? Does he play it to (roughly, since he might’ve changed some things) keep up with what’s happening in his past life as Thrain?

What about Teyvat? Since he tricked Ronova and sacrificed himself to have his souls rejoin the Leylines/afterlife, wouldn’t she notice his soul missing? Would this get out somehow? Would the Fatui go looking for him (his soul)?

Would Teyvat end up finding his reincarnation and if so, what would their reaction to a modern!Thrain!MC be? …Actually, what is he studying? History? Teaching? What would their reaction be to an academic Thrain!MC? (Is he still tall and buff like he was in game? As a contrast to his profession.)

Thrain!MC would probably be incredibly exasperated at ending up isekaied. (Like, seriously, again? At least he doesn’t have to grow up again…) Is it into another fandom or a generic isekaied-hero-journey that he completely derails by being himself? Would be funny if it has a Game system interface that include his old titles and power-levels, etc from when he was the First Fatui Harbinger.

(If we go with academic Thrain!MC: Here’s this tall, long-haired man dressed like a stereotypical teacher holding a mug of coffee, so you think his stats won’t be that good, but then you check and BAM! “First of the Fatui Harbingers”, “Il Capitano of the Fatui”, “Sentinel Knight”, “Lord of the Night”, “He who sits upon the Throne of the Primal Fire”, “He who turned Death’s curse against it”.)

I say Genshin should exist in his new incarnation, and he plays it to keep up with what's happening after his 'death'!

Uh, I'm not sure if Ronova would notice his soul is missing, nor if it would get out to the Fatui somehow... maybe someone from Natlan notices?

Also, I'm not sure if anyone from Teyvat would be able to find his reincarnation? I'm just not sure...

As for what Thrain!MC is studying... I don't know. I have no clue what he would go for... history maybe? Oh, and I stand by him still being tall and buff. Even if he's no longer a warrior he still keeps his body in tip top shape!

And yes, Thrain!MC would absolutely be VERY exasperated if ended up being isekai'd. Not sure what fandom would be a good choice for him, but it's chaotic... and he would like to go back home please. He's RETIRED now-

Zandik is enjoying himself once he gets to the safe house, it has labs! And research! What are aranara and why does he want one. (Thrain!MC pauses briefly before sighing. Zandik is doing something ill-advised again.) Pantalone is already en-route - he knows where Zandik is likely to be (and he’s right).

Thrain!MC is currently doing his best to get everyone together again. He needs coffee. Why are the people of Natlan being so nice and why are his men picking fights. Why is this his life.

(Thrain!MC has yet to realise that 1. Natlan now knows what he did for them, and 2. He’s attractive. Poor, oblivious man.)

I live the image of the wolves of wolvendom, Andrius + one small Razor invading Snezhnaya. That just sounds like pure chaos, but hey! At least ir got Rostam to Rosalyne before the baby can arrive!

And yes! Razor meets his new older sister and future niece or nephew! That will be so cute!

Lol to Zandik being in heaven in one of his old labs. But oh no, Zandik, no, you can NOT have a Aranara! Pantalone, stop him!

Oh, but the best part of this is oblivious Thrain!MC. Natlan as a whole is like his number one fan/simp now, and his men are acting like his body guard cause holy shit their former captain is attractive and it's bringing in people who want to get into his pants!

Maybe Mavuika isn’t really listening to Thrain!Mc when he’s asking if she can get him to Snezhnaya (she busy trying not to have a nosebleed because holy fuck he was hot)

Eventually he gives up and just leaves, literally just starts walking to Snezhnaya

Rostam clings to Signora very much and will go feral if someone tries to take his beloved away. It’s the same way with Signora, she’s clinging to her lover.

And lol, poor Thrain!MC. He's getting zero help frlm these helpless simps. Man is literally walking to Snezhnaya to get away from these idiots!

Also yes to Pantalone being clingy as fuck with Zandik, who, by the way, still has fragmented memories of him but knows, oh, this is HIS banker!

Pantalone found Zandik in Air Jail to be hilarious. His Doctor should expect many jokes in the near future. He’s also wondering if he needs to be prepared for Thrain!MC to act as his father-in-law.

If it’s Pantalone that dragged them back, the Fatui are keeping an eye out for them, ready to bring them back to Shnezhnaya if they need it, especially if their memories are fragmented or missing. If it’s Ronova that brought them back, there’s a mad scramble to get to the Harbingers first.

I think the Fatui would also be completely willing to help bring Rostam to Rosalyn, both because the Tsaritsa is the Goddess of Love, and because they don’t want to see what an angry and pregnant La Signora will be like.

…Imagine if they all had phones and they still worked, so while people on Teyvat are panicking about three Harbingers being back, the three (and Rostam) just. Call each other. to figure out what’s going on.

And lol, the Fatui would of course be afraid of an angry and pregnant La Signora. She might not have her old abilities or most of her memories, but she's still terrifying. Plus, those of the Fatui who had wives who either were or are currently pregnant... they know how terrifying they are if triggered. Thread lightly ladies and gentlemen...

Then the whole phone conversation! Rostam being smothered by the wolves of wolvendom, which I guess includes Andrius as well. Old Wolf god was definitely smothered him. Like full on laying on him. 😂

And then there's Rosalyn who woke up cold and moody, with Zandik right smack dab in the middle of the Sumeru Rainforest. No one is having a good time... baring Rostam. He's probably having fun with the wolves, lol.

I wrote it so that Thrain!MC remembers being Capitano!MC, Zandik has some vague memories of being Dottore (courtesy of his segments), and Rosalyn just has some vague familiarity regarding Teyvat (and then Zandik and Thrain!MC).

I thought that that would make the most sense, since Zandik/Dottore wouldn’t have befriended an Arts Student otherwise. He’d lock in on Thrain!MC “sharing far too many similarities with the cursed knight from his dreams/memories” - and maybe him being like Capitano from the game that also shares features with said dreams/memories.

For the “window”… is it visible from Thrain!MC’s side of things? Does Teyvat leave him (and the other Harbingers) alone, since it seems he reincarnated and is happy? Do they try and get him back? Do they find out he has his memories? What about Zandik, Rosalyn (and Rostam)?

Ooohhh... that makes sense.

Though now I can't help but imagine instead of Thrain!MC interacting with La Signora/Zandik, it's instead the other way around.

I imagine for Zandik in particular, he just jumpscares Thrain!MC one day cause, hey, he looks and feels familiar, and Thrain!MC is confused as hell but just shrugs. Ok, guess this is happening.

As for Teyvat... I kinda want to imagine they would leave him alone, or at least most of the fractions want to leave him alone. Ronova might try to do something just to get his, and probably those other Harbinger/Rostam's souls back cause hey, they're supposed to be in Teyvat's laylines not in another world!

...I do imagine Pantalone mayne, possibly wanting Zandik back? Dottolone on the brain- but as for Rosalyne/Rostam, I imagine Venti just wants those two to stay away from Teyvat and at least get the happy ending they always wanted.

The R/R’s child is going to be the most spoiled child ever, yes. There’s the Wolves, the Harbingers (and Tsaritsa), the Hexenzirkel, the Knights of Favonius (and Venti), the Ratniki if Varka introduces the baby as his nibling, the entirety of Mondstadt and Shnezhnaya, etc.

Aww, Zandik remembers Pantalone as his banker. Emphasis on the “his”. Bet Pantalone was pleased about that, even as he refued to let his unethical, mad scientist go. Who needs to breathe air?

Thrain!MC is going to be exasperated when he finally gets to the safe house and sees the two.

We need to think of a name and gender for the most spoiled baby of Snezhnaya and Mondstadt. Oh, what if it was a girl? Andrius would probably love having a female grandpup.

And lol, I can Thrain!MC arriving to the safe house, pokes his head in, and he's just sighing.

Meanwhile, Varka is being introduced to his legendary predecessor who’s panicking because his pregnant partner is about to give birth. Razor is just going along with what his lupical wants. He’s excited to be a pack uncle.

Poor Thrain!MC! Bet he ends up just sneaking off in the middle of the night, borrowing a mount once he’s out of Natlan to get to Zandik. Rosalyn and Rostam are generally safe, but their unethical scientist is most decidely not. He’s also unsupervised, which is never a good idea.

I’d say Pantalone gets to Zandik before Thrain!MC and walks in on him on a research binge: sleep-deprived, messy appearance, head buried in stacks of papers. Zandik notices him and calls him “his banker” before immediately being smothered in a hug. The scientist is not escaping that hug anytime soon.
