Why do you call me Tommy?

Okay but everyone calls Thomas ‘Thomas’ only newt calls him Tommy and your telling me he didn’t wonder about it for like 1 minuite. Like Tom is a normal nickname for Thomas but Tommy’s kinda unusual.

How did you get your limp?

I don’t really know how to explain this one and I know this is actually told in the books but I would’ve liked to see it as a normal conversation not a minuite before newt dies. I feel like it could’ve been an emotional scene on it’s own.

Do you ever think about your life before the maze?

Need I elaborate?? If I remember correctly there’s not a conversation about this between any of the gladers.

The bad kid? And who is the good/shy kid?

Who is the country bumpkin and who's the city slicker?

Which one would be famous?

Which one would be in a gang?

Who would be the one sick all the time?

Which one would be a dancer/skater/whatever?

Which one would model and which one would have all their photographs?

Which one screams royalty?

Which one would not be human (angel, demon, merman, what have you)

Which one would get into teaching?

Also this is kinda based of the book not movies?? Because Trenda didn’t happen in the movies?? Or Thomesa really??

In my opinion (note the word opinion don’t attack me) only Thomesa OR Trenda should’ve happened. We need more male and female friendships in books without them having to end up romantic.

Personally I think that Thomesa was too sibling-like and that Trenda was just boring. By boring I mean Thomas never initiated contact or anything, it was always Brenda, but I do think that if it was written better it could be cute.

BUT if Thomas had no love interest that would’ve been amazing. LIKE SERIOUSLY I WOULD’VE BEEN SO HAPPY. For real though they’re in the middle of an apocalypse focus on THAT not girls.

(You know I’m saying this but if Sonya, Harriet Teresa and Brenda were with me I too would be distracted)

AND TOO FINISH OFF, if Thomas had a male love intrest I would probably scream. We need more gay/bi/pan representation in books/films without it being the main point of the story and especially the MAIN CHARACTER.

Yeah, I know there is quite a bit of lgbtq characters in other series’s but I’m yet to read a dystopian series where the main character is gay.

So I am gonna start working on a long fic for ao3, BUT I wanna warm up first! 

SO! Some of y’all should give me one sentence prompts and a otp to write it for and I’ll write some short fics till my juices get flowing and I get to writing the longer fic.
