Looking at the difference between DOB and TBS is something so fun. Like, they're the same height, but side-by-side, Dylan is built broader than Thomas. The picture of them together in an interview with weirdly coordinated outfits is so important to me.

It's fun to think that Thomas (character Thomas, not actor Thomas) is the big guy in their relationship, and Newt enjoys the physicality of his workhorse of a boyfriend.

Also. You're telling me he couldn't just pick up Newt in TDC? Blondie weighs a buck ten soaking wet, and adrenaline-wired survival-mode Thomas couldn't yoink him up? C’mon man.

yeah, the funniest part of it all is that Dylan could carry Thomas which he proves in the bloopers of tdc (love seeing actually, and how Dylan just lifts Thomas into the air and they’re both laughing about it). so. technically. had the director allowed it, we could have seen Newt be carried by Thomas no sweat. there’s still a way the tragedy could occur, but just like with Jack and Rose, they chose differently
