the blizzard had finally let up some. snow still blanketed the ground, but it was finally nice to get out of the library. as much as thackery loves the library, he can’t lie. he’s happy to be out and about again. it’s cold, much colder than it had been when he entered the building. he enters one of the nearby shops and nabs one of the last jackets left. on his way out of the building, he notices someone else walking along and enjoying the snow day. recognizing her, his feet are making his way over, despite what his brain is thinking. as he approaches, he realizes he isn’t even sure what to say. he smiles as he approaches, and says the only thing that comes to mind. “ crazy weather we’re having huh? “ he asks, shoving his hands in his pocket. nice line, thackery, he thinks to himself.
