If you (narcolepsy haver) were to go to your doctor (neurologist) and you say “hey I don’t think the treatment is working I’m still extremely fatigued and still sleeping all the time” and he said “well maybe we could increase the dosage of your medication but there’s a chance that it could give you more migraines” and you said “I would prefer having more migraines if it meant I could be awake and I’ve already got the rescue meds and the preventatives for that already sooo…” and he said “what if you just tried harder to stick to a schedule” and then said some nonsense (because it’s not applicable to the situation) about sleep hygiene would you be upset (I am upset)
