One day I want to be what Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye are to me, one day I want to show the world how beautiful our planet and the universe can be. To show them the joy that can be brought by looking at organisms not as single entities, but as a whole unit! That we can't look at ourselves and think singularly, but we must look at ourselves and understand the whole. I want to be what Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson were to me for all the little girls out there that only ever hear about women in science but never see us. I want to stand up and shout, we are here! We exist! Your love for science is not 'boyish' or odd but something to be loved and cherished! Math and programing and physics are not limited to boys! Come and join us, we exist too. I want to do what Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, and every scientist I have meat along the way has done for me. I want to teach and show and explain to anyone that cares to listen. I want to be visible, not for myself, but for those that could become empowered by my visibility. I want to be these things, and one day, with the support of my fellow scientists, I know that I will.
