I really like the idea of strategic protesting, but I think you’re all doing it wrong. If I could insert myself into this conversation I think if they aren’t going to raise our wages then we should start taking our time back. Lets protest these companies that seem to steal your time in subtle ways by offering you marginally cheaper products. Any time you order something from amazon and it comes with an instruction booklet that requires you to spend an hour and a half OF UNPAID labor putting it together. Somehow we forgot to factor these things into the price. These small concessions are leading to the deterioration of our society. Maybe if we don’t want so much automation we spend a little more time to opt into the human option. Like at the grocery line it used to be if lines were super long they’d open more lanes now for some reason they opt to direct you to self checkout then don’t trust you enough to ring it up without stealing. So this is what I ask. Instead of buying the new amazon shelf look for an after market shelf on marketplace thats already built. Its cheaper AND you get your time back then use that time to pick the human option. If we’re going to pay more lets pay more for things that come with services that employ people. Lets click the actual google links drive traffic back to actual websites. Lets be more strategic with our subscriptions only buying in months we see movies or shows we want to see. Make a list once you have a list of 5-6 movies then you can spend $20 that month on ad free watching. Watch what happens when we start protesting this way…
I love you all for caring.
