Correction! Print Shop Reunion is October 15!
Some of you know I made a post yesterday in which I wrote that I thought the reunion would be Oct 8, based on the information that came out in the TCA interviews. Much of what we post here is speculation and our best guesses based on what we observe, read, think, feel...
This great post by @reilly310 indicates that the reunion is in episode 6, i.e. the episode airing on Oct 15. So if anyone cancelled concert tickets or Manitoba midnight supper plans or rearranged anything in your life to be home in front of the screen on Oct 8, mea culpa. Many of you commented right away that you did not think the reunion would be Oct 8, which is of course quite alright - we comment on each other’s posts all the time - that’s part of blogging. What is not alright is to send unkind and rude anonymous notes to me making fun of or/and criticizing my speculation about the date of a television show. Yes, a television show. The relative anonymity of this type of social media seems to make some think they have a license to say whatever they want to whomever they want. If, in my post, I had hurt, made fun of, or unfairly and unjustly criticized anyone, then of course, call me out on it.
But to send mean-spirited notes simply because my speculation was not accurate...what joy is there in that? To anons who feel compelled to send notes to anyone criticizing their artwork, fanfic, photos, blog posts, or speculation written on their own blog, please stop and think about this:
Before you speak (write/type), ask yourself: is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?
