!!! I've been so excited to finish this corner to show you guys what came of using #theWeeksDyeWorks #pistachio to create the ground in this scene. Also, I redid the net pattern on the character's supporting leg. I still think it's a cool technique to have in my repertoire. I'm going to experiment with a few more #texturizing #techniques before I'm done with this #tarotcard.

Four dollars at Goodwill, let's see what we've got: -Some random DMC floche, and random overdyes. -Splendor by Rainbow Gallery, currently retailing about $3.50, so already worth it. -Watercolours by Caron, currently worth about $4, so still winning (but tears if I fall in love with it and can't thrift more). -And finally, what caught my eye: The Weeks Dye Works, lots of repeats, but you won't catch me complaining. Currently calling for about $2.50 for five yards. All told, I'm definitely going to have to start thrifting for embroidery floss more often, I just saved a fortune on all this thread, even if I just trade some of the stuff I won't use for some stuff that I will. I'm absolutely gaga over these overdyes.
