not sure but i think Mother Lilith reached out to me in a dream...?
in the dream i was at the grocery store. my card declined over and over and i was humiliated. people around me were getting upset. i tried one more time and somehow the payment went through. on my way out to my car, i was called out to by a woman in her car in the parking lot. i don't remember what she said exactly but she told me to enjoy my groceries and to rely on her if i need anything. she got out of her car and went around to the trunk to grab something, then brought it to me. it was a black object but i cannot recall what it was exactly. at this point i noticed she was unclothed. and i didn't feel scared, or anxious, but also not entirely allured. instead i felt like a child who had a role model to look up to. i felt like i was so safe, like a warm blanket was wrapped around me or something. i said "i have to go home now, but I'll see you again" and she said "you absolutely will".
guys was this her?

About Lilith (and Samael)
Using the Alphabet of Ben Sira as origin-text is sloppy scholarship. It’s satire + social critique that later readers mistook for ontology. When we remove it, and limit its use to archetype understanding, Lilith’s actual lineage becomes clearer, much older, darker and more structural.
The Treatise of the Left Emanation (Isaac ha-Kohen / early Spanish Kabbalah, 13th c.) is the first theological system to do something radical and precise: it's the first place she’s treated as a true metaphysical counterpart to Samael rather than folklore debris.
1. The real origin layer: Mesopotamian lil beings (pre-Israelite)
Before Judaism, theology and gender polemics:
Sumerian / Akkadian sources speak of lilû, lilītu, ardat-lilî
These are wind / night / liminal spirits
Not “evil” in a moral sense — chaotic, untamed, sexually autonomous
Closely tied to: infertility, stillbirth, erotic dreams, thresholds (deserts, ruins, night winds)
Key point:
Lilith does not start as a woman. She starts as a class of forces — untethered, nocturnal, eros-driven, non-domesticated.
She is pre-moral, not fallen.
2. Hebrew Bible: Isaiah 34:14 — demythologized but not erased
> “Lilith shall settle there and find herself a resting place.”
Isaiah preserves the name lîlîṯ intact, She’s placed among desolation spirits, not animals, The text assumes the reader already knows what she is.
3. Second Temple & Late Antique Judaism: magic, not myth
The next layer is incantation bowls, amulets, demonologies — and this is where things sharpen.
What we see consistently: Lilith is paired, not solitary, She is sexual, nocturnal, parasitic, child-threatening
She is not a rebel feminist figure, she’s a metaphysical problem
Importantly: She is never subordinate, is treated as ontologically independent and often appears alongside or counter to a male destructive power
This sets the stage for "Samael."
Samael is not just Satan, He is an emanated force, mirroring holiness, And Lilith is his equal consort, not a punishment or byproduct
She is: not Adam’s wife, not a moral failure, never a human woman
She is the feminine expression of the Left Side, just as Samael is the masculine.
5. Why Lilith has to exist if Samael exists
The Treatise makes something explicit that earlier traditions imply:
No emanation exists without polarity, no destructive force exists without eros, no judgment without desire
Lilith represents:
uncontrolled receptivity, erotic overflow without covenant, feminine potency without containment
Samael represents:
accusation, severance, rigid judgment
Together, they form a shadow syzygy.
Not “evil parents of demons” in a cartoon sense, but the inverse architecture of divine emanation.
This is why later Zoharic material doesn’t invent Lilith — it inherits her
6. Why Ben Sira feels wrong
It collapses metaphysics into social satire, weaponizes Lilith for gender discipline, flattens an emanation into a disobedient wife, It’s a domestication myth, not an origin myth.
Useful for archetypal analysis? Yes. Useful for ontology? Absolutely not.
7. The through-line (without Ben Sira)
Lilith’s true arc is:
1. Primordial liminal force (Mesopotamia)
2. Residual night-entity (Hebrew Bible)
3. Independent demonic power (Late Antique magic)
4. Emanated feminine shadow (Left Emanation / Kabbalah)
At no point is she originally:
a human woman
Adam’s equal partner
a feminist rebel narrative
Those are later overlays.
Lilith is not about gender politics.
She’s about what happens when divine receptivity exists without covenant.
