“Being liked or not, having company or not, being understood or not, being acknowledged or not, are not issues of concern on the spiritual path.” – Donna Goddard
Yes, wonderful quote. Nothing is of real concern when you walk the spiritual path. When you walk the spiritual path you care about the little things; you care about nature, you care about the environment.
You look to change how you live your life because everyone and everything begins to matter. You become ‘spiritual’ as opposed to ‘earthly.’ Your concerns separate, so you’re not needing to be liked or understood, so it doesn’t bother you if you’re not being acknowledged.
There is a lesson in the spiritual path for us all. Life your life with joy, live your life with hope. With the ‘spiritual life’ you’re ready to embrace and carve out a different life, so that you’re not holding on to anger and bitterness.
We can all find the good in our experiences, in every situation, so that we’re ready to live a ‘spiritual life’ to explore the next chapter with empathy, compassion, tolerance and patience.
No matter your experiences, being spiritual allows you to let go of the anger you feel, so that you choose to rise above the anger to find a life that encourages emotional and spiritual growth.
It is hard to read ourselves back, but when it comes to spirituality, it is important to lap truth up, because it is important and good for the soul. It allows us to progress on a more enlightened path, so that we are no longer irked by our experiences and injustices, but instead we work with what we know, and on our own terms.
So, awaken your energy, connect with your energy, nurture your energy, be your energy and walk the spiritual path. The ‘spiritual path’ is open to each of us. In 2022, now would be a good a time as any for society and the world to embrace its teachings.
