Long Day
It started at 8am with a series of police trainings for the program I’m evaluating. Then I met with my thesis student. Then I went to prepare for a lecture I’m giving tomorrow and applied for a job coordinating community based participatroy research programs. It ended with an interesting question though asking if I felt that OSDD affected my emotional maturity. I think my experiences have made me unique (there is no one on Earth that I know that wants to study what I want to academically), and I’ve had to draw on emotional maturity to get there. At the same time I have a damaged emotional system thanks to my experiences. It occurs to me that people with dissociative disorders are both emotionally mature and emotionally damaged. Thanks PTSDÂ
