Hey you know The calming therapist cookie? For the beasts? if itâs not too much to ask, could you do it with ESC and SSC cause they would have their work cut out for them on these cases like
Reader: Hello Silent, I came to talk to-
SSC: There is nothing you can do to help me for everything turned to dirt on that fateful day-
*Barely two minutes later*
SSC sounding like heâs about to cry while laying down on a bench like itâs a couch: I donât even think I deserve anything-let alone any solidarity
Reader: Look you need to understand that the mentality is so unfair not only to you and the beasts but a lot of the cookies you extended companionship to in your time-

Eternal Sugar Cookie
Finding the Garden of Delights in a state of mid-repair was..quite a surprise considering how perfect Eternal Sugar desires it to be.
You saw her angels cleaning up shattered glass jars and draining the ground of jam. But they welcomed you all the same.
You asked Pavlova Cookie of her whereabouts, and he points you to the Beast's tree, where she's resting and seems...all-too-relaxed. Even more than she usually is.
Hollyberry informed about her encounter with her, urging you to tread carefully inside her domain.
Yet unlike the rest who were "defeated" by their respective Ancient Heroes, she wasn't mulling over her escape.
"Sugar of Happiness...I see you've been fairing much better than the others."
"Oh? It's you." Her eyes flutter open, a warm smile upon her face as she rises and stretches her wings. "Forgive me for not properly greeting you, and for the...current state of my garden. It's undergoing some much-needed reservations for my other half. It'll be even more perfect once she returns~! But right now, I'm curious as to what brings you here."
"Can't I visit an old friend just because?" You chuckle, sitting down on a rock. "After all, we had similar goals: wanting to ease the pain and suffering of cookiekind, and look after their wellbeing."
"Mhmm..yes, we did." She sighed. "But I fear we drifted apart simply because I didn't like your methods so much."
"Really? How's that?"
"....instead of making them forget their pain and suffering, you forced them to talk about it, making them relive all their hurt. And you pry deep into their minds and bring their awful, ugly thoughts up to the surface. And you call yourself an advocate for cookie happiness? Hmph." Her voice, although still sickly-sweet, held a condescending undertone. "You should have sent them to me, where my cure is a nap upon a cotton cloud and a bite of sweet-"
"You seem to be confused." You cut her off. "I said I look after their wellbeing. Although happiness is a big part of it, it also involves their health, their outlook on life, and giving them hope for a future where they aren't so burdened by their innermost turmoil. I help loosen the shackles of their past, and I give them advice on how to march onward. As far as I can tell, your garden offers none of that. You say you take away their pain, true, but you've also taken away themselves. Who they used to be. And what they could be."
"Oh, what do all of those trivial little things matter?" She dismissed with a giggle. "It's much easier on the soul and dough to simply.....forget everything they ever knew. To tuck it alllll away into the back of their minds, never having to worry about anything~ If only you could accept my paradise for what it-"
"Your "paradise" is full of nothing but ugly distractions and enforced repression...."
She stares hard, her jam boiling with primal rage-
"....but, I understand that you were desperate. Being responsible for their Happiness is a monumental task. You couldn't be happy with yourself unless every last cookie you met was happy. So when all else failed..when the Witches left you on your own, you believed this was best for them. I can't fault you for still believing so."
She blinks, now being more...perplexed.
First you insulted her realm, and now you're justifying its existence? Are the effects finally working their magic?
But like Cupid's arrow, your words struck her heart. Sharp and to the point....unearthing those feelings of abandonment and loneliness she had experienced long ago--after she could no longer hear the Witches' voices.
For some reason, she can't interrupt you. She can't snap at you to stop making her think of the "ugly" and "uncomfortable" thoughts she tried locking away.
It doesn't help when, like Hollyberry, you reiterate that pain is an inevitable part of life--something she cannot erase with promises of sleep and sweets for eternity.
Yet at the same time, she feels a sense of....relief that you sympathize with her efforts. You two didn't like seeing cookies in pain--that you could absolutely agree upon.
Eventually, you do take your leave. She makes one last bid for you to stay....and you decline, much to her disappointment.
But she gets over it pretty quick and returns to perfecting her Paradise for her other half.
You're still glad you met with her. Your "session" was more like a chat with an old friend who wasn't quite like she used to be.
Silent Salt Cookie
When White Lilly told you about meeting him in the Land of Silence, you were eager to see him again, knowing he never sided with the Beasts' tyrannical ways.
You've befriended him at the Faerie Kingdom, back when he wore armor of white and green, and accompanied him to the Great Barren on numerous occasions. He was quite the gentle and noble soul--the Salt of Solidarity--only wanting the best for cookiekind and for the oppressed to feel free.
However, nothing could have predicted that terrible night....where supposedly he killed everyone and damned their souls, betraying his own Virtue.
Yet somehow...you didn't believe that.
And you didn't believe the Witches were the ones to seal him and the Beasts.
No...something about that seemed implausible.
The Silver Tree was heavily guarded, with not even you being allowed to get close to it despite your attempts to reason with the fairies.
So you decided to let them be...until the present day, when White Lilly returned to tell you what she discovered about him--Silent Salt Cookie-- revealing that your suspicions were correct.
He turned the Silver Tree into an eternal prison, invoking the very spell of the old Witches with Elder Fairie's help and giving his dough and soul to ensure the Beasts' reign of terror ended.
He was still lingering in his domain, perhaps trying to correct more of his wrongs with the spirits still unable to move on, so you ventured there......only to run into Nox at first.
But his noble steed was ever sweet, greeting you as if no time had passed at all.
You worried if the same could be said about-
"It's you.."
"...it is me." You smile, turning to face the armor-clad cookie. His voice didn't sound full of malice or disappointment, which was a good start. "She told me everything, don't worry."
"I'm not." He sighs. "I....feel that an apology is long overdue."
"I'm sorry for......wait, huh?" You blink.
This was quite a surprise...considering that you've been the one apologizing to the Beasts for not being there for them when they were losing grasp on their Virtues--like the Witches whose voices faded into the night.
You've been on this journey of reconciliation, to help them all feel heard now--even when it didn't seem to matter anymore. Even if it seems like it came too little too late.
So for Silent Salt to apologize to you had caught you completely off guard.
"All those cookies you've helped....who were touched by your words and motivated to have a better outlook on their bleak situations....I...I-I've cut all their lives short. Reduced your efforts to crumbs. All because...I failed to be there for them." With a shuddering breath, he bowed his head. "I wasn't there when they needed me most...I made them resent me, resent my knights...and made them feel abandoned."
"I'm no stranger to that feeling, Salt." You frowned slightly, still patting Nox's snout. "We..both failed to be there for them. I failed to be there for you and the...former Divine Emissaries. My words could have changed the course of their actions, perhaps..but I didn't know how easily they'd fall into vice."
"....I fell into it, too. Did I not?"
Looking back at him, you see the holes in his helmet glowing. His emotions were growing tense.
"I had become no different from them. Those monsters...whom I have sworn to protect the people of the Great Barren from. I vowed to be the exception! And yet in the end, I too betrayed my Virtue, my people...e-everyone." He trembled a bit. "Even you. How could I be worthy of Solidarity? How could I be worthy of anything at all-?"
"I'll stop you there, my friend. If I know one thing about you...it's that you didn't mean to betray anyone." You rested a hand on one of his pauldrons. "The domains of Beast Yeast sought to tear your divine mission apart from the inside out. They didn't like the idea of you standing as equals with ordinary cookies. They wanted you to be like them...but from what I've heard and what I see...you never did. They failed in that aspect."
Silent Salt remained quiet, although his whole demeanor somewhat became more relaxed.
"You deeply regret the things you've done. And the others, believe it or not, also do...to varying degrees. The weight of their duties was extremely burdensome."
You then went on to explain what you've found out about the other Beasts during your visits to their domains after encountering their other halves.
You made sure he knew that you weren't excusing their actions--just trying to help him understand that they didn't simply decide to abuse their Virtues and turn evil overnight.
But it's a relief that you were also able to get some things out, knowing he shared your desires to change the past...even though you both knew that was impossible.
Nevertheless, you made it clear to him that he didn't have to carry the burden alone.
Not anymore.
