are there any fics where andrew or neil (or both) are immortal?
Thereâs quite a lot of immortality available, be it because they're gods or some other supernatural being (like a vampire/demon/angel), or because of reincarnation. You can find examples in such fics as âTimelessâ here, âThe Bittersweet Between My Teethâ here, âSince the beginningâ here and âThe Foxes and the Faeâ here . You might also like to check our Greek mythology post here as well as our vampire posts here, here and here. - S

part 1: An ode to Life (T, 10125)
He remembered he once liked humans. Liked them and their thinking, before they disappointed him past the point of return. Kevin Day, in more ways than one, reminded him of the old times and the old humans.
That was the beginning of the downfall, Andrew should had known.
part 2: An ode to Death (T, 10270)
âDo you remember what happened?â Andrew asked, because it was logical. He was unsure whenever he wished to know the truth and that, too, was terribly human.

unbeing dead isn't being alive by scribbleb_red [Rated E, 4380 words, incomplete, last updated Sept. 2019]
Andrew Minyard canât die - heâs been killed a number of times. Once by Drake, once in the car with Tilda, he should have bled out after being stabbed by one of the men who bashed Nicky... he always wakes up though.
Which is why he takes a bullet for Neil Josten, a perfect stranger (and Andrew really means âperfectâ).
Problem: instead of fleeing the scene after being saved, Neil sees a bullet push itself back out of Andrewâs skull.
âYouâre like me,â Neil says.
And Andrewâs whole world shifts on its axis.

A Soliloquy For Stolen Hearts by AlexGlass [Rated T, 24129 words, incomplete, last updated Feb 2018]
Once upon a time the darkness reached out with claws and teeth and ripped a boy to shreds, as it was ought to do. But the boy knew of the darkness and its ways, and when the darkness looked away, the boy struck back, returning every blow. But revenge is no healing, and so two became one, less than the sum of their parts, but more than the nothing that awaits them.
He is unique. He is singular. But he is not alone.

âHeâs alive!â Nicky gasped. âBy God, how long were you down there?â
âHe was buried three days ago.â Supplied another of the grave robbers, shovel slung over one shoulder.
âGood thing we decided to rob him when we did,â a fourth voice made itself known. He didnât say it like it was a particularly good thing. Neil felt himself grabbed and hefted out of the coffin, his legs proving useless. âI donât suppose you were buried with anything of value.â
