You sighed contentedly as you buried yourself further in the blankets, a wide, satisfied smile on your face. The Princess Bride displayed on your TV, ready to play, but you were waiting on Sanji to finish showering. In the meantime, you munched on heart-shaped cookies, made by him and ‘baked with love’, as he always said. As you sat in silence, the familiar taste of the cookies brought a fuzzy feeling in your tummy, reminding you of your Valentine’s Day traditions.

As most couples went out, promenading through town and dining at fancy restaurants, you two always stayed in on Valentine’s Day. First was breakfast in bed, then exchanging gifts, reading your annual love letters, a light lunch, naps and cuddles, prepping for dinner, dancing to your shuffled love song playlist, enjoying a delicious dinner that was far better than what any five star restaurant could offer, baking, movies (almost always The Princess Bride), and, saving the best for last, loving, passionate sex. You two didn’t need the expensive trips or romantic strolls. Everything you needed was within the four walls you shared; your home was where your love shone most.

You loved Sanji, more so with each passing day, but Valentine’s Day always felt a little different. In a cheesy way, it was more special. Yes, you had a plethora of anniversaries (Sanji found any relationship milestone a reasonable thing to celebrate) but Valentine’s Day was your day. A perfect holiday for two romantic love birds such as yourselves.

You laughed to yourself as you remembered last Valentine’s Day when you were feeling a little unwell and Sanji had dressed up as Westley, referring to you as Buttercup throughout the day and treating you like a true princess. Of course, Sanji has always treated you like royalty, the only difference to his usual treatment was that he only referred to you as princess or Buttercup, or both, just to get as many laughs out of you as possible. And he never outright said “I love you”, minus a few hiccups throughout his comedic acting, only ever “As you wish”. Those endearments continued to slip every now and then, even to this day, and your heart never fails to flip in your chest each time.

“You look so comfy and cuddly. Mind if I join?” Sanji smiled as he waltzed into the living room dressed in nothing but a faded pair of grey sweatpants that hung loosely at his V-line. Tiny droplets of water cascaded down his toned chest, traveling further south in tantalizing speeds, disappearing in his happy trail. You gulped loudly, stuttering ever so slightly in your response.

“S-sure. I’ve got Princess Bride ready.” You scooted over and he plopped down next to you, nonchalantly reaching over to grab a cookie from the tray on your side table. You tried your hardest to pay no mind towards his fresh scent, nor the way his long arm grazed gently against your chest. Holding your breath proved fruitless as you were instantly overwhelmed by his intoxicating scent. Sight, touch, smell; he was driving you mad in almost every sense. Your tongue weighed heavy in your mouth as you suddenly craved a taste of something other than the cookie you were nibbling on.

Sanji kissed your cheek, reciting Westley’s current line, “This is true love, think this happens every day?”

Captivated, you stared at him, “I’ll never love again.”

As Buttercup and Westley kissed under the burning sunset, and then again in romantic departure, an undeniable arousal coursed through you. You had a sudden urge to replicate that scene and more. Your desires only grew hotter as the movie continued on and soon enough you could no longer pay attention. In brave motions, your hand grabbed onto Sanji’s strong thigh, tenderly rubbing at it.

“Oh? Are we skipping to the good stuff already?” He smirked in a cheeky manner. His thigh tensed underneath your touch and you could feel a small twitch in his pants. Your own thighs instinctively squeezed together though you shuffled in your seat in an attempt to hide it.

“Don’t act like you don’t love The Princess Bride.”  

“It‘s not that. Making love to you is just always my favorite part of Valentine’s Day.” Sanji turned to face you, grabbing at your hands with a dreamy look in his eyes and a suggestive grin.

Back when you and Sanji had first become intimate, you could not have imagined such lewd things to escape his lips so easily. He would have tripped over his words, profusely apologized for being so lewd, or even more amusingly, bled all over himself. Yet now, after all these years together, and with plenty of intimate practice, Sanji’s found confidence in wooing you. It was both a blessing and a curse. Your clothes were definitely thankful to avoid blood stains, but a dampness in your panties served as a replacement when he voiced his sinful desires.

“Unless you don’t want to. I’m perfectly content with cuddles and a movie.” He kissed at your wrist, placing his cheek against your palm and holding your gaze to search for any doubt. Was he aware that his gentle considerations for you only made him dangerously sexier?

“I want to…” You whispered. How many years now, and he still made you so shy? It was embarrassing, but Sanji could only find it endearing as he laid you back against the couch, finding home as he settled himself against your waist, peppering the flesh of your calves with loving kisses as he held your legs.

“And what does my princess want?”

You whined, covering your face much to his amusement. You were so damn cute when you got flustered, it was hard for Sanji to compose himself when you were bashful. As you shied away from him, your body couldn’t help but betray you as your legs parted underneath him. He looked down, eyes wide with mischief and eagerness. His nimble fingers made haste with your pajama shorts, pulling them down as he kissed along the soft skin of your thighs, excitedly tugging at the bands of your panties.

“As you wish.”
