āHey you!ā Lydia called out, waving at the person as she stumbled her way through the lobby to them. āOh.Ā Oops,ā She giggled as she lost balance for a couple of moments, regaining it a few moments later as she straightened herself up. It was late Friday night and she couldnāt remember getting home, but she had to have, some how. Sheād had a few drinks to celebrate. Celebrate what, exactly? Well, there was the obvious fact her birthday is on Sunday for one, which she decided was a celebration in itself. The other reason? After months, her divorce finally came through and itās settled. Official. And seeing as she was the one who filed it in the first instance, she found all the more reason to celebrate. It was over and she was free. Besides, she thanked the universe for her early birthday present. It was final; it was time to let go. In a way, it was bittersweet. Because sure, there was still hurt there inflicted from the wounds that had yet to truly heal, but in her heart it was the right thing to do. And she was letting go for real -- something that had been a large part of her life. But she wanted to look on the bright side of things, hence the celebration.Ā
And now she was home, was it time to stop? Absolutely not. Grinning wide at the person in front of her, she said,Ā āWant to come and celebrate with me?ā Honestly, Lydia was half expecting them to say yes, no matter what. But sheād probably have enough to drink already, hence the stumbling, and the over-enthusiasm.Ā āI have some drinks at mine, I think... but if not then we can go out! Or there might be something in the clubhouse? I donāt know -ā Tugging lightly at the other personās arm, Lydia pouted for a second,Ā āPlease?ā Her face turning into another wide grin, blinking a little as she moved maybe a little too quickly and felt slightly dizzy.Ā āDonāt leave me hanging.ā
