Another hand :) I'm enjoying using watercolour as an underlayer, and doing the refining work with gouache at the moment, and I feel like I'm slowly finding a technique that feels good. Doing smaller pieces has been incredibly beneficial to my practice, as well as my mental health lately, and I'm excited to paint the next few designs! I hope you are all well lovely people. Over here, it's sunny, and although the week has been rough so far, the sun and my loved ones are soothing some of my inner turmoils, and I am very thankful for that. This detox for me is more than just giving my liver a break. It’s a time for me to challenge my mental discipline...to hone the skill of controlling my mind and subsequently controlling my actions. When you have that skill down, NOTHING can get in your way as nothing has power over you. No fear, no doubt, no anger....no emotional response to anything. You control your world. You can read all the books on how to be a perfect human but if you don’t practice, you will never get to close perfect. This is just another law of nature. This same rule applies to mental health.
